Around her neck hangs a small pendant shaped like a spider's web. The body of the spider is carved from an indigo stone.

Emerson is originally from Los Angeles, CA. Mekhet characters who hail from there may have known her regnant, Nina Maris, and her ability to "clean up" messy Masquerade breaches, or safely transport injured Kindred from fight scenes in ambulances, or provide a temporary haven for Kindred in the morgue, or a small supply of blood from the bank. What isn't widely known was it was her ghouled coroner, whom she affectionately called "Charlie" who did all the dirty work: assuring burnt-out graveyard shift workers in the medical and police fields that they didn't actually see some guy beat another with his own severed arm, flip over that car across the parking lot like it were nothing, or that girl with her throat ripped out didn't get up and walk away.
