Kai does a few cheesy karate adding some batman like sound effects. Laughing to himself, he sits down to eat a little before the days events begin.

Ankh about busts a gut laughing at Kai so hard. "I am sorry, dear, but I simply cannot take you seriously when you look like that. I guess it's a good thing I will be in the air."
She sits down next to him to have a little breakfast herself before their day begins. She is a little apprehensive about all of this. She is not used to actively going after the bad guys. Usually, she gets told to stay home and be safe while all the big bad burly Mages go and take care of the nasties.

West sat down and proceeded to pick at his breakfast, a bit worried. Although the sight of Kai was truly amusing, it's also a very graphical reminder of the day's plans. Mages in conflict always made him apprehensive, rarely going as planned, and frequently lethal. The public arena would also be a huge factor. Although Ankh had done well at Avalon, he hoped that same level head would prevail today as opposed to the flashes of the temperament she had shown with him. He was glad, though, that they all seemed loose enough to have a laugh at Kai's expense.

Ankh watched West out of the coner of her eyes as she talked to Kai.
Does that man even know what the word relax means? I guess it is only fair. We are going into a potentially lethal situation but damn. I would not want to be remembered as captain stuffy right before I died. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
She turned her attention back to Kai, as he seemed to be the more talkative one.
"So, how long are you going to look like that? Cause, it's a bit distracting. I mean, it's hard to know that Kai is in there somewhere."

"That's our cue. It's showtime. You guys ready?"
Kai picks up the empty plates and puts them in the dishwasher, his nervousness showing a little.
