Ankh had come to a conclusion after her talk with West.
She just needed to look older then she currently did.
This was not just for personal reasons, it was also for professional ones. West said they needed to be inconspicuous. Well, it was not very inconspicuous for a seventeen year old girl to be with two older men. So, she had decided to change that.
She sat on her bed and softly chanted in High Speech for what seemed like forever. Rolling the words around on her tongue and developing a nice, fluent taste for them.
Once that part of the task was compklete, she set to work on the weaving of the spell. She held the image of herself five years from now as steady in her mind as she could. Generally, she was good at the visualizations, she'd had a lot of practice in the hospital. An imagination could save your sanity in that kind of situation.
Holding onto the image firmly in her mind, she began to weave the threads of magick around herself.

Realizing that she could feel the power envelope her and settle into her, Ankh decided to stop the ritual.

She stood, and went to a mirror to admire her progress. The spell had worked exactly as she'd hoped. Feeling exhausted, but smiling at her progress, Ankh got undressed and climbed into bed. She was asleep before she even had the chance to turn the light off on her night stand.
