Kalos glanced at his watch- 10 minutes to 3...just enough time. He tucked the papers scattered around his desk into a single pile and stood. Leaving his office he made his way to the front of the theater, and being stopped only once, made it with 5 minutes to spare till 3.
Not being one to stand around idly, he began to wander through the room- mentally giving it a review and noting what needed attention. As he was the only one in the antechamber at this hour, he didn't have to worry about Rayanna being confused on who to approach with she arrived.

Rayanna walked into the ballet theater a few minutes before three o' clock, admiring the architecture and just the theater itself. They had nothin' so nice back home in Mer Rouge. It was beautiful.
Rayanna brushed her blond hair back from her eyes and looked around, noticing the man standing there. Smiling shyly, she walked up to him and said, "Excuse me? I am looking for Mr. Kalos. My name is Rayanna Pearson, I am here for an interview."

Kalos turned with a warm smile.
"Ms. Pearson, I am Kalos- and it is a pleasure to meet you."
He held out his hand to shake hers.
"Right this way to my office and we can get the interview under way." Turning to the side he let Rayanna walk next to her as he lead the way to his office. He pulled up a chair to the front of the desk and motioned for her to take it before taking his own seat behind the desk. Reaching over he pulled out the copy of her resume and application that he had and gave it a quick glance over.
"Well- Rayanna, welcome to California. Louisiana huh? Quite a distance. Are you liking the area so far?"

Taking his offered hand, Rayanna smiled back at Kalos as she shook it. Firmly, but not to firmly.
"Hello, Kalos. It's nice to meet you." She followed him into his office, and took the offered seat. She smoothed the flowy skirt of the cream colored dress she was wearing and crossed her legs. She smiled brightly at Kalos, "Yes, it is quite a ways from home. But I do like Sacramento. It is quite large, though. The theater is very beautiful."

"Thank you- I will be sure to convey your thoughts to the owner. She is quite proud of it and always loves to hear when someone approves of her work.
Now, what kind of work are you looking for here Ms. Pearson? As a nursing student, working at a theater is not normally the first choice of jobs."
Folding his hands on the desk he waited for her answer, keeping his face neutral so that she wouldn't feel pressured or pushed into a quick answer.

Rayanna smiled shyly. "Yes, I suppose it is a bit of an odd choice. I was a waitress for years back home. I enjoy the work. I like interacting with people, and I'm good at it. And when I walked into this theater, I knew I had to try and get a job here. I would love to work at a place like this. As far as what kind of work, a waitress or hostess position would be wonderful." Rayanna sat back and unconsciously chewed her bottom lip for a minute.

*She must have seen the theater from the outside- sounds like she has never even seen a show. Waitress? Hostess?* Kalos knew her resume had been slim on theater experience but he hadn't realized that she actually thought the Ballo Della Notte was a dinner and show style of theater. Well, if she did stick around he would have to make sure she saw a show before her first day. For all that Twist would be thrilled to hear that her theater had obtained another admirer- she would be just as appalled at the thought that her theater was considered on par with a dinner-theater.
"Unfortuanatly we don't have any waitress positions here at the theater. Closest we have is a bartender- but I'd rather have you trained in that area before throwing you to the wolves."
Leaning over he pulled open on the desk drawers and removed some papers. Rifling threw them he seperated a few before continuing.
"Now we do have some other openings that are people-oriented that you might be interested in; usher, guest service- that would be in the ticketing counter, or even just a position in tickiting. Now, if you want to go out on a limb I can talk to my wardrobe or props head and see if they need any help down there?"

Rayanna listened to her options. She felt mortified that she thought it was dinner-theater. Wardrobe and props could be fun.
"Well, wardrobe and props sounds intriguing. But if there are no openings there, then guest services would be great."
Rayanna uncrossed and recrossed her legs, smoothing her skirt in the process.

Kalos nodded, "I will check with them. I do want to warn you though- it is pretty hectic behind the scenes. It's pretty calm right now as the current show has been underway for a few weeks now but when we switch over it will pick up. But either way, I will have one of my two heads give you a call should they need you or I will call you myself if guest services has a better opening.
Aside from that- there is the matter of pay. What range are you considering?"
