"Welcome back to KWOD radio, your local alternative music station. We'll get back to the music in just a minute but first local weather and news. It's August, it's Sacramento, it's hot. Seriously folks, it's about 92 degrees, you can expect it to cool down some tonight but it will be sunny and hot the rest of the week. Maybe some weekend showers, but you know the weather guys are always wrong. Put on some sunscreen and break out the umbrellas this weekend and you should be good." The DJ pauses and shuffles his notes, then continues.
"A bizarre occurrence happened last night. Apparently there is a kidney thief on the loose. Someone at a bar went up to some strange persons' room and woke up a kidney short. The details are sketchy, the police are letting a lot of information out right now. But I can bet what the missing details are: the dude woke up in a tub full of ice, with a phone next to note on a chair," the DJ is chuckling and is obviously amused, "The note says something along the lines of: 'call 911 and tell them you're missing a kidney.' Wait, I know this one-it happened to my brother's friends' sisters' husbands cousin.
Lock up 'em tight kids, maybe get lojack on your organs. It's what you call an Urban Legend-myth, not true. C'mon this stuff doesn't actually happen."
The DJ laughs, then says, "well, here is Violet Hills by Coldplay kicking off another set of the best in alternative."
