Discovery Park is absent an "talkative" spirits. Most of them seems to respond poorly to your presence, most retreating away or into themselves. You get the distinct feeling that though they aren't hostile, they are probably scared or unhappy about your presence. You easily see the active stones.

Fiddler focused on the area, scanning for anything interesting.
"Hey guys, do you see the other stones? I can see 10 total. They are laid out like the Atlantean pentagram, and the Mind and Fate stones are where they would normally be. This looks like it was arranged by something... we should be careful not to activate the other stones"

Animus studies the scene. Ten stones, ten arcana. And yet, only two of them show any overt ties to an arcanum. Perhaps one of the others will yield up some of its secrets.
He begins to study the resonance of the nearest inert stone.

As far as Animus is concerned, there is nothing special about this stone, other than it's darkness (like onyx).

"I used life sight earlier. Just now I investigated one of the stones with spirit sight, but I couldn't make out anything unusual. Then again, I missed the fact that these stones form the pentagram. Perhaps the stone in the position of spirit ... His voice trails off as his attention focuses on the stone placed where the spirit arcanum should be.

Animus gets the faintest aura of some sort of minor resonance, but he can't place exactly what it is, as opposed to the stone before, which showed nothing at all.

The stone is made up of something like Onyx, but it's structure is more solid than diamond. Though Invinctus can't discern any magical properties, he's never seen anything like this before.
Animus peers across the Gauntlet, but it's almost the same as it was before, except the lack of bodies and police cars, and very few people lurking about at this time.

I had hoped that they would be willing to speak to another spirit, but I will have an answer regardless. He singles out a spirit that looks likely to have been aware of its surroundings, and commands it to answer clearly and truthfully.
