 Circus 13 (Friday the 13th Gathering)
|

Upon coming to the front of the Museum you will find that you have to navigate a maze consisting of fun house acutraments from spinning tubes to walk through, moveing floors that go the opposite direction you want to go, susspended bridges, and even a few fun house mirrors though you can't make out the reflections Rahyna did not want to leave anything out and figured the obscured blurs would gain a few laughs from some poeple in attendance.
Once making your way through the maze and entering the building those who have been to the Museum before will notice that the aquariums that useually decorate the front entrance are now covered with black silk and red velvet cloths the lighting is muted and a soft yellow glow is filling the room.
after leaving the foyer and entering the main area of the Museum looking around you will see all of the exhibit rooms are also blocked off in alternating black silk and red velvet cloths there are a few lights lit around the perimiter of the room and there are three rings throughout the room lit up as well.
The center ring is the only place that still has a hint of aquatic nature left to it as the center aquarium houses a man floating in a cage near the bottom he is badly cut and mutalated there are carniverouse fish throughout the tank with him circleing as if they could go into a feeding frenzy at any moment just waiting on the ok to devour the meal displayed infront of them as the color of the water seems to change with every passing moment as more blood seaps from the body into the water agitating the fish even further, looking up above the tank you will see two tight rope walkers locked in a battle so beautiful it could almost be considered a dance each one trying to push the other into the tank below.
Above the tight robe you will see one lone woman on a trapeze doing spectacular airobatics flipping through the air from one side of the cat walk to the other.
To the left of the center ring there is another smaller ring set up where there are two women dressed in black and red doing acrobatics while a pair of men circle the ring throwing knives through their routine the women seem obliviouse to the men and the men to the women as if their is nothing but their partner in the world with them.
To the right of the center ring there is another of the smaller rings set up and here there are two people one of them strapped down to a wheel that is constantly turning and he has a red and black buls eye painted over his heart and is blindfolded at the edge of the ring the other man in the ring is throwing wooden stakes at the man always missing the man by meer centimeters and laughing the entire time taunting hum as he spins.
Rahyna stands infront of the aquarium in the center ring awaiting the guests of the evening she is dressed in a ring masteres outfit of a top hat black and white striped corset and a long long flowing skirt of black. her hair is left free and she is holding a whip.

Asa arrived, dressed conservatively in a simple black suit with subdued pinstripes and a white shirt and tie. He hadn't been sure what the dress would be, but this was usually good for anything.
He managed his way through the entry entertainments, enjoyment tinged with apprehension. The suit was one of his last Yves St. Laurent pieces and ruining it was simply not an option. The mirrors made him smile as they warped his image, even though he couldn't make out his features -- some amusements were never outgrown.
Some amusements weren't for children either, he saw, as he made his way in and watched the performers. How... macabre. He watched the pair on the tightrope, and felt a delicious tingle of... anticipation? It was doubtful either would fall, but one never knew. Making the connection, he supressed a smile at the thought of Rahyna explaining that to Twist, if there were an 'accident'.
Seeing her, talking to Davis and Elle, he made his way over.
"Very nice," he smiled, giving his hostess a slight bow. "I love your outfit." Turning to Davis, he offered his hand. "Thank you for watching over our family at the Lash event, I never had the chance to speak with you." He smiled at Elle, "You look great, of course."
"You know, after seeing Elle in action with Gabriel Marcus, these two are probably the most dangerous couple in the city," he said to Rahyna with a grin.
It's actually a great match. Davis can unwind a bit, and help Elle stay on track.

Elle happily walks in on Davis's arm, planning on being on her best behavior that night, since she didnt even go to the last Elysium. She slinks along at his side, dressed rather demurely considering her normal attire, looking sleek, but still just the slightest bit naughty.
She casts a delighted beam at Asa, "why thank you...." she grins, quite happy to be on the arm of the Hound. She exchanges pleasantries with Rahyna, complimenting her choice of performers, happily watching the daggers get thrown around.
Now this...is my kind of party...

Mrs. Scotts arrives by her hummer, driven by her ghoul. She gave her bodyguard the night off tonight. He could come if he wanted, but at this party she had no fear of sudden incidents.
She dressed extravagently, a full length gala dress, studded with jewels and set in a not quite matte gunmetal grey. She slipped off the ring, remembering Icarus' concerns, and instead opted for his necklace of jewels. Finally, some pearl earings and a coifed hairdo and she was set for the party.
The fun house entrance gave her some pause, but she was delighted with the mirrors.
"Signifigantly better than your damn sun asa" She thought to herself."
The ghastly sights that greeted her after the funhouse truly were pleasing. Mrs. Scotts especially enjoyed the man in the tank. Perhaps she would read his mind sometime later tonight. She went up to the hostess and smiled.
"Good night Lady Rahyna. This reminds me of my days as a young girl. I am very pleased with it." Mrs. Scotts says, with a hint of a smile.

For those entering from the sewers that lead from under the city to the enter into the Museum from the Society room upon reaching the Museum the sewers have also been done in the air of a funhouse with spinning tubes and moveing floors but instead of mirrors there have been posters put up throughout the hall of different circus atractions such as the bearded woman the two headed goat and other such flyers upon entering the Society room of the museum you will note that most of the exhibits in this room have been moved to the edges and there is black silk and red velvet cloth covering the room from ceiling to floor and there are lights at the far end of the room showing the entrance to the main room of the museum where festivites are taking place.

Rahyna smiles at Mrs. Scotts "I'm glad that you seem to be enjoying yourself." she looks at those around her and then to the performers locked in their various activities and gives herself an inward smile "So Priscus Asa you have not made it by for your tour." she says with a joking tone to her voice "I guess you have been too busy please I hope I have not frightened you off by any means." She then turns to Davis "and you Hound I trust everything is going well in your neck of the woods no more would be wall decorations." she suppresses a small laugh to herself and hopes she did not over step her bounds by the comment. I wonder if either of them will be in attendance this evening she muses to herself.

Seraphina knew she should do as the Priscus asked her and go to visit with the Senshal and get acknowledged but she opted to make an appearance at this gathering she had seen posted in some of the public places she had ventured into on her personal tour about town.
As she approached the building she laughed to herself and walked through the fun house maze not even bothering to find any of it amusing she found it juvenile and in poor taste maybe once she got inside she would find it more interesting.
As she arrived inside she looked around and slightly scoffed to herself very over played in her opinion and then she saw the hostess and others gathered around her she recognized Asa but that was about it so she walked up and stood next to him.
Extending her hand she looked at Rahyna "Hello my name is Seraphina it is a pleasure to meet you and thank you for your hospitality." she then looked at Asa "Priscus it is nice to see you again."
Seraphina was dressed in a pair of Khaki's that looked two sizes to big and a tank top that left little to the imagination.

Sunshine searched through the random jumbles of clothing he had after he had texted Asa and found an outfit that would be most appropriate. Though mismatched and slightly dirty he made do with what he had and made himself as presentable as possible. After nuking himself with an ample ammount of cologne to mask the scent of the sewers he gave himself a once over to make sure he looked as best as he could. A large pair of black shorts did well to hide he dual-knee'd legs, a dirty white button-up shirt under a black long sleeve blazer did its best to conceal the small bony protrusions that grew from his shoulders, upper back and elbows. The blazer was slightly small and was near to popping at the seams but it would make do. To complete the look, he topped his head with an old nearly a foot and a half tall tophat.
As he made his way down the sewer path he took note of the circus theme and smiled broadly. Maybe I wont be the only one looking like a freak... he thought and his smile only grew wider.
Upon entering he made his way into the Social room, fighting his beast down as he entered. His smiled grew even wider as he entered and saw the place, he spotted a few Kindred conversing and made his way over to them. Might as well make myself known He thought as he approached them.
"Hi, my name is Sunshine, it is a pleasure to meet you all." With that he extends his hand in greeting.

Marius entered the museum with a slight swagger, mildly amused at the theme. He wore a red silk shirt, the top buttons opened, and black suite pants. His hair was open, and flowing in soft waves down to his shoulders.
He walked up to the hostess Rahyna, giving a curt bow of the head.
"It is nice to see you again... Mistress Rahyna." he said, noting the whip in her hand, and giving a sly smile.

"Indeed, all is well." Marius looks at the other gathered guests immediately noticing the, what seemed like, sun-burnt hulk. Before introducing himself however, he first greeted the other kindred gathered around Rahyna.
"It is a pleasure to see you all again. For those of you who do not know me, my name is Mars Delven."
Those who had met Marius before tonight, noticed his French accent to be ever so slightly more dominant than they remembered.

"My apologies," Asa replied to Rahyna with a smile. "It is on my list of things to do. When things slow down, I'll have to take you up on that tour."
Turning, he greeted Seraphina with a nod. "Seraphina, it's good to see you. If the Seneschal attends, you might save yourself a trip to the theatre."
After he spoke, that... thing walked up. Must be the anonymous texter... ha, ha, Paresh.
Asa listened to the other talk, wondering what to do with Sunshine. It was a shame he hadn't offered his services before confronting Gabriel Marcus.

Char glides in wearing her black Valentino form fitting cocktail dress. She wasn’t sure what the theme would be, but she always looked first-rate in black and she wanted to look her best in case Coda was to arrive. Plus, it was by far her favorite color.
She had originally thought that an aquarium would be an odd place to host a revelry such as this, but she had seen stranger. However, she was pleasantly surprised when she saw the way it had transformed. The black and red curtains were extraordinary and the entertainment was exceedingly amusing.
Out of the corner of her eye she glimpsed what she thought to be a woman dressed as a ring master.
She must be the person who put on this fabulous soiree.
Calming her beast from all of the new faces, Char introduced herself.
“Hi, I’m Char. Are you this evening's host?”

Ace follows the bombshell red head he met before in, his shirt sleeves are ripped off, what was once a gorgeous Comes des Garcon shirt is now a punk tribute with a thin black and white argyle tie, his black jeans ridiculously tight and held on by a heavily studded belt. his ass kicking boots go to his knees, hair flat ironed down over his eyes so no one can see where he is looking. His fully tattooed arm sleeves (that feature items from Salvador Dali's most famous paintings, including the horses and melting clocks and stilty elephants) are standing out, making him look like he could be one of the circus freaks.

Elle and Davis come back from their little tour, heading up onto the cat walk and watching guests arrive. Her gaze snaps to where a punk has entered the room, her eyes narrow, making sure it is him she looks him up and down.
Her grip tightens on Davis' arm, her lip curling into an absolutely furious and terrifying snarl. Ace.

Hey man... he mumbles, quieting his beast as Asa comes up. He frowns, then nods his head, heading straight back out the door he came in.
Elle
Elle snarls slowly quieting as Davis murmurs in her ear, and she sees Ace leave.
Aura
Aura arrives, shushing the beast that tugs on her lungs and attempts to scrabble out of her chest, looking luminously lovely in her pale pink dress.

Nicolo hadn't decided if he really wanted to go tonight as he wasn't much in the mood for parties. But he'd driven around aimlessly for hours already, and he had put on his favorite Salvatore Ferragamo slacks, top and trench. Might as well be seen in them.
He sent the Scuderia toward the Museum and parked it, as usual, as far away from the heathens as possible. You just couldn't trust anyone not to ding their doors into someone elses' beloved car. People were so fucking careless. He climbed out, and looked around, but could find no bloody Kine to dominate into being his watchdog. So his bambino was left unattended. It made him edgy and irritable. If the infidels showed up to this partito and blew up cars again, someone was going to die. Seriamente.
He walked through the maze of mirrors and tubes and moving floors, and it irritated the hell out of him. A child's game? What was this woman thinking.
Nicolo came out through the entrance though, vaguely looking around with the intent of making some pleasantries, then splitting as fast as he could, when he was overcome by the vision before him. The Kine corpse, floating in the cage, mutilated and cut to ribbons, grotesque and morbid as he was beautiful and seductive to the predator inside Nicolo. And his fellow hunters, swimming and stalking their meal, just as he did, night after night, waiting for the moment of opportunity when they could have their prey.
It stopped him short. He became mesmorized by the sheer beauty and eloquence of the moment. The moment before the feed. He crossed himself and said the words he always did before this moment,
Oh God,
Who so righteously Damned me,

My Anointed Purpose.
Amen.
Nicolo crossed himself again and waited there. Waited for them to take the blood that was rightfully theirs. He wasn't sure how long it would take, but he didn't want to miss it.

When Marius saw Aurelie enter the room his eyes lit up, and he immediately excused himself from the others.
Slowly walking up to her, he let the moment work on him. Why did he feel like a 14 year old in her presence? He still didn't know.
"Bon soir, chèrie." His French was sweet and seductive. "I'm so glad that you came as well." He slowly embraced her if she allowed him, and whispered in her ear.
"You look absolutely beautiful." Then he drew back, but still held her, looking into her dazzling eyes, and feeling the urge to kiss her.
