Neil returns the hugs and the kiss glad to see she isn't upset he gives her a small smile "Sorry I thought I had 'em." he gets out shaking his head upset with himself but trying not to let it show "Well that was damn good driving I must admit. Neil sighs and pulls out his phone looking to Antoinette I'll get my butler to come pick us up." wondering wether or not she'll actually go with him now after that humiliating defeat.

Kaeda grins. "So he didn't lose daddy's car? He lost girlfriend's car? Wow." She takes the papers and tosses the BMW key at Antoinette.
"Papers for mine are in the glove box. If I left any dope in there, just mail that too." She explains, "Oh, well, we swap here. Coda started that tradition."
Looking at Coda she stuck her tongue out at him, "And KEEP that bike, I owe you one. Don't you dare argue!"
"So what are you two dressed up for?" she asked as she began walking around the CCX, stroking it.

Antoinette shrugged, though it was very sweet of Neil to compliment her, and she gave him a glance sideways and a smile. "How could you have missed it, there were flyers everywhere." She inhaled the air, trying to smell their blood. She thought the girl was Kine, but she didn't think the biker was. It was hard to tell at the distance they were at. She looked deep into his eyes, trying to figure him out.
"Thanks for the offer of the car, but I'd rather not. You won, fair and square. You keep both. Enjoy. Remember to cool her out when you run hot, K?" She turned to Neil, "You know, don't call anybody. My place can't be, what 10 or so miles back. Let's just walk. It's a really nice night."

Antoinette laughed "Thank you sir, you are indeed too kind." She softened her eyes and looked into Neil's. Losing never felt this good. What a night. She was still giddy.
"So, what should I get for my next car?" They had many miles to dream about that.

Kaeda waved at Antoinette and Neil as they left.
"That's so fucked," she said, turning to Coda. "When I said 'no' your friend Bella chewed me out."
Sighing, she considered throwing the key at the couple walking off and telling the she was leaving the car.
Well. If she's letting her boyfriend lose a CCX in a race, she'd probably keep walking.
"OK, here's the plan," she told Coda. "Call Bella. She can have the Beemer. My way of saying 'thanks' for not letting me barf on myself that one night. God knows I'm not driving it when I have that."
I think I'll paint it with the Vermillion Veritech scheme...

It really was a nice night. Cold, but who cared. They were always cold...
It was quite late, and mostly quiet except for the random car that would pass by now and then, hitting them with with their bright lights. Antoinette figured she must be quite the sight walking along the side of the road like this, in see-through pants, and a tank top. Olivette still had her coat that went with the outfit. She brought her body a bit closer to Neil, hoping he wouldn't mind. And suddenly she felt like she should say something. Anything.
"So, I was thinking either a Zonda R, or a Ferrari. The Zonda R is probably a better car for me to drive; lighter and easier to handle, but you know, Ferrari's are so classic. I really have to have one eventually. Maybe the FXX. Though they are impossible to get. You really have to have owned one before in order to be on the "list" to get a new one. But maybe I could go over to Italy and talk to somebody over there. My Dad had lots of car connections in Maranello. Though I don't know if Baron Quinton will let me go over there – he's been kind of weird about letting me travel out of the country. Do you think maybe you'd want to go with me? We could go together. Maybe that would make him feel more comfortable about me going. Of course, there is that Nicolo guy here now, he's from Italy and has a 430, he might actually be useful in trying to secure one. But then I could just get the Zonda, that would probably be easier..."
She was so nervous. She couldn't shut herself up. Here she was walking out in the middle of nowhere with a man, a Kindred, she hardly even knew, and she was going to ask him to stay the night with her...

Neil smiled to himself nothing had gone the way he thought it would and usually that drove him crazy but tonight, everything going wrong seemed to make it much better then he imagined.
Noticing Antoinette moving closer to him he gave her a warm smile and as she went on about cars he was amazed. The girl knew her cars better then he did, he would have to make sure to get her opinion when he went to get a new one for himself.
"Well I think we should try to get you the Ferrai, I think it would fit you quite well. Hopefully Niccolo could aid in acquiring one but if not I would love to go to Italy with you. I've never been but heard it is beautiful."
As he stops talking he seems to realize something and quickly removes his jacket, "I'm sorry it seems that my manners have left me tonight here put this on." he offers her his jacket.

As Neil offers her his jacket, she bites her lip and looks up at him in wonder. She's missed this feeling desperately. Somebody caring about her, and not like a Sire. Maybe even wanting her. The feelings she had for Quinton come rushing to the surface; there was a time when she thought he loved her like "that" too. A time when she thought he'd marry her and love her forever...
She shoved those feeling down and stuffed them as far back as she could, stomping them mercilessly as hard as she could. It hurt too much to think about.
Antoinette took the jacket gratefully. "Thank you so much. I didn't exactly dress for walking down the street. Well, I guess I kind of did, if I had a different profession." She laughed at her own joke. "So, the Ferrari, huh? I think that's a good idea. I'd like to go to Italy with you. I'd like that a lot." Smiling, she slipped her small hand into his, thankful that he didn't pull away, and kept herself very close to him. "If I can get permission to go, when would be a good time for you?"

Neil looks at her for a moment, he had been with many women before this but this was the first one he found himself really caring about. The irony of it all, in life he never cared for anyone but when his heart stopped beating... Shaking his head he thought for a few seconds I'd need a week or so to smooth things out with the club, once that is done I could go anytime."
Holding her hand tightly as they walked he found himself wishing the night would not end.
