As the spirit road opens, a white glow ripples outward from Animus, briefly revealing the spirit of each object that it touches. As it passes Blackfire, Fiddler, and Invictus, they feel a rush of vitality.
Animus' familiar runs through the portal immediately. Animus calls to the others, "You have just enough time to walk through,", grabbing his mirror just before entering the crossing through himself.

Invictus shoulders the backpack he's spent the last couple of hours putting together and he then steps through the gatway without any comment.
((I'll list the contents of the backpack in half an hour, I have a meeting to get to.))

Blackfire exhales slowly.
"If no one else wants a wand. It would be best if I let go of the magic."
Anyone can take it. If no one does Blackfire lets go of the wand's power.
Stepping through the portal Blackfire looks around the Spirit world. the Shadow.
It had been awhile.

Once in the shadow realm, Animus makes one last preparation for combat, dropping one spell and casting another, once again using the mirror as a focus.

The same glow radiates outward, with the same effects on the surroundings, but when it subsides, Animus has taken on the ears, nose, and claws of a wolf. He slips the mirror back into his pocket, careful to avoid tearing the fabric of his jeans.

Fiddler followed his cabal through, not sure of what it would be like. He had seen into twilight before, but never visited.
He emerged, looked around, and said, "Where to?"

Then he realizes which sight he had activated. I must still be rattled from hearing of Cartright's murder. Once again he juggles spells.

Invictus takes the extra wand from Blackfire
Once in the Shadow Realm, Invictus interlocks his fingers and makes quiet chanting noises, recasting his shields.

Disappointed with the strength of the spell, he tries again - only to have the magic fizzle.

He then takes the water bottles he packed and places them down on the ground with the lids unscrewed. Chanting, he makes a subtle gesture with his right hand and a slightly less subtle with his left. The water remains lifeless.

Invictus smiles and gestures with his right hand - the water flows up out of the bottles and flattens out like a pane of badly made glass floating in mid air. He takes his hand and pokes it, then he leans into the animate water, putting pressure on it to see how much it can hold. It has a consistency something like really flexible glass. Invictus smiles and snaps his fingers, the water flows back into the containers, which he puts in the pockets of his jacket, while the little plastic lids go back into the backpack.
He looks at everyone else. "What?"
