Continuing education means being in a gym with men and women half my age running around, throwing them to the ground. And being thrown to the ground. And police locks and cooperation holds and on and on and on. Good stuff. Useful stuff. Never seen anyone be able to wrestle their way out of a compliance hold when more officers pile on for backup.
So Detective Joe worked, day in day out, to complete the "advanced" CQC training course. Even brought in an expert from state. Something something Snake.
