My husband introduced me to Red Dwarf. I LOVE it. One of my very favoritest series EVER. Especially Cat. "YeeeeeOW! How am I lookin'? I'm lookin' GOOD! And, this is mine, and this is mine, and this is mine..."
We tried to get Char to watch it a couple weekends ago... She FELL ASLEEP. I swear, there is just no accounting for taste in some people.

Heh, heh, heh...
...and Top Gear, and Skins, and Dragon's Den and pretty much anything the BBC makes over there that they'll show over here. I'm such an Anglophile.
I ALSO got to be in the audience for the pilot of the American version of Top Gear. It was suppose to replace a canceled show on NBC this spring, but they opted out, so I think SPEED or another cable channel is going to pick it up. So if you're into that sort of thing and happen to watch the pilot -- I'm in the audience all over the place, but I'm "right" up front when they announce the new American Stig, and how can you miss the short girl with black hair and the hot pink dreds?? ;-)

Being originally european myself, I'm a bit biased, but I adore almost everything that comes off the BBC. My favorite show by far ahead of ANYTHING is Doctor Who.

I know it's not on the BBC, but right now we're obsessed with "House Hunters International". OMG -- the houses you can go and buy, right now in Britain, Netherlands, France, Italy, Portugal, etc. Absolute medieval renovations for a song. It makes me cry every time I see them, and to think we could sell our tiny, ridiculous, cookie-cutter condo here in this ridiculous market and still buy a castle there, or medieval farm house with so much property...
Of course, I have no idea what we'd do to make a living. Make Europe safe for advertising? Like we do California?? LOL

I've been busy ignoring the long wait between specials so I don't get upset knowing they'll take forever to see and that we'll be losing David Tennant next year.
I have every hope for Matt Smith though, because even the Doctors I don't like weren't horrible at it.

Oh God I love British TV.
Top Gear was what got me a more then passing interest in cars.
Doctor Who kicks ASS but I have only seen the first season fully. (Whole bunch of random episodes)
Anyone remember Coupling, (Still the funniest sitcom around)

Yes! Coupling, another great one!
I think the British version of "The Office" came from BBC. And did anyone catch "Extras"? God that was funny.
Did anybody else watch "Skins" besides me? I was blown away at how edgy it was for a young people's series (on regular TV). I plan to make Tony's little sister "Effie" into a Vampire Character one day... I guess Antoinette is actually fairly closely based on her, except Antoinette is a lot nicer and less strategic/conniving... And, of course, doesn't deal while she's in clubs...
