Kalos ignored the chattering woman behind him. She was elaborating about the windows in the kitchen- how they let in the morning sunlight and how the view was just wonderful. The imagery of Twist in a kitchen trying to cook did bring a smile to his face though. Hands in his pockets he wandered away from the kitchen and headed toward where he guessed the rooms were. His first reaction was disappointment- the master bedroom had no less than 3 floor to ceiling windows. He heard the woman moving to catch up with him and he adjusted his facial features to a neutral setting and moved into the room to check out the closets. He nodded along with her comments and made the suitable noises to keep the woman content.
“I thought I saw that there was a basement?”
“Oh- yes, it is fully furnished. I think you will really like it. Right this way.”
Kalos followed the woman down the stairs and into the basement. It was smaller than the upstairs, looking like a small studio. *Probably to rent out* he thought to himself as he wandered around, taking in the crown molding and hardwood floors. He paused at one of the windows long enough for the woman to come over and inquire if he had any concerns about them.
“No- just trying to picture my family here,” he reassured her, smiling a bit too warmly at her. *And how easy it will be to block those windows so that I can see my family here* he thought to himself as the woman blushed and moved away. He had told her earlier that he was currently single. Moving away from the window he let the smile remain on his face as he followed her through the rest of the tour.

That evening when Twist rose from her day sleep he met her with the news that he had put an offer on a house for her.
