Char leaned in, grabbed his chin, and leaned in for one hell of a kiss.

Char gave Coda one of her most innocent smiles and headed up to the temple. She opened the door and slipped inside.

Char bowed her head quickly with respect and watched him for his reaction. She wasn't sure how much he was told about her reasons for comming here.

Char nods her head politely to Mako and Valencia.
“Nice to meet the both of you.”
She looks back at Paresh Williams and takes a seat.
“In regards to your questions, I have not yet met the Seneschal. I just got into the city before light yesterday. I have met a few kindred this evening. Actually, Coda was nice enough to give me a lift here.”
She wasn’t sure she wanted to let him know anything to personal. Maybe she should see how much he actually knows. Hmmmm….
"So what exactly were you told of my arrival here?"

Valencia watched the girl like a hawk and did not like the discerning looks she kept throwing in her and Makko's direction. This woman had no business coming in here and demanding answers of a man she did not know who was obviously of higher station.
"Excuse me," she said in her sweetest little girl voice, "please forgive my ignorance, but who are you, exactly?
"To answer your other questions, Emma did nothing to recruit any other Crone. Her priestesses were mostly blood bags with very little ability to think for themselves and her circle was hardly anything to contend with. She was killed as she spent her Requiem, needlessly and with little purpose."

Char could tell that Mako was very protective of Valencia, and maybe not that intelligent. Valencia on the other hand might be a little more intelligent then her age let on. She could tell from reading Paresh’s thoughts that he had no idea really why she was here. Only that she was looking into things. He also had no idea what her job actually entailed.
Let’s just keep it that way.
She turned toward Valencia.
God I hate seeing little girls turned! It’s just so darn hard to be mean. However, I know how the whole innocent thing works. I define the term.
“Don’t worry, I am only here to do a job. The head Circle in Italy has sent me here to look into a few matters. Sorry if I am asking so many questions. I just want to make sure I get all the facts, so that I can report back efficiently.”
Char looked back at Paresh Williams.
“Understand that I mean you and your coterie no harm. I am only doing my job. I do have one more question for you if you don’t mind. Where does Emma’s group meet?”

Valencia looked at her sharply.
"What does the Circle in Italy have any say in what goes on here? We are not affiliated with them in any way, nor did we have plans to be. So, you can tell me how they even knew there was a Circle here in the first place and why you seem to think that gives you the right to ask my Master so many questions with free leave?"
She dismisses the next question with a wave of her hand. "Emma's group doesn't meet anymore. Their church was burnt to the ground, and they have disbanded."

Their light green auras really show that they all distrust me. People always distrust people when someone has someone sheck up on them, that's nothing new.
Char thought to herself.
However, if I'm really going to get some info about what's going on in this city, that is going to have to change.
"I really do appreciate you helping me out so much. I will definitly relay that back to the Count. And please remember, if there is anything, anything at all, that you and your Crone need help with, please let me know and I will help. "The Circle in Italy is one of the oldest and largest Circle's in the world. They look over all, at all times. If they say something is going on here, then it is. If you wish to survive, especially with a group as small as yours, I suggest that you heed what I am saying. I am NOT here for you. I had the understanding that Paresh Williams was aware of me being sent here and was asked to answer my questions. I will no longer answer your questions unless they are relayed in a more proper tone. I will give you some slack, but I do not welcome your bad-manners."
