Kai's cab pulls up and he steps out.
He walks up to the bouncer, nods, and heads inside to begin his work night. Kai steps in and survey's the bar.

The Head bouncer moves past Kai with a nod then he looks like he is headed to the restrooms.
Once he gets inside the restroom he checks it quickly and once its empty he keeps any others from getting inside.

Nah quickest place to clear out and keep you cover....But for some reason I have been told to let you know on the nights that the boss is not in. Not sure what type of spell you put on him in your interview process but you better be that damn good for making me have to report things like that to you....
Kai can tell this guy is not happy that he is reporting sensitve information to the new guy and his use of the word spell is more the Charisma type meaning then anything else. He does not seem happy at all, but does not let it shine through, all that much.
I know you two had a run in the other night after closing but he never told me all of it. The door got replaced and now we have tha as part of our regular rotation. So keep an eye and don't make the rest of us who have been here longer then a week look bad ok, Kid....
With that he walks out as he exits the door he calls back into the restroom

Kai rolls over to the bar and ask the bartender for a cranberry and soda. Still Surveying the crowd.
He wasn't sure if anyone from the hallow was going to make it, but it wouldn't surprise him some undesirable mages showed up, especially since the guardians had made themselves appear at the worst possible times twice now.
He was hoping Ankh had written down a good Chinese place to eat. He was looking forward to tomorrow. New leadership for the Arrows, new members, and a date. He hadn't been on on of those in a long time.

~NARRATION~
As Blackfire makes his way through the line he surveys the line.
Blackfire briefly notices a woman waiting at the front of the line. There's something just... wrong with her but he can't tell what. It just nags at the back of your mind though.
And when the Bouncer returns to the line he turns her away without thinking about it. An instinctual fear of the unnatural warns him that she will be trouble.
She turns unphased, and walks away. She passes within a foot of Blackfire, and for a split second he sees her skin squirm as if something living is trying to get out.
And then she's gone.

Kai had marked him as a possible source of headache, but continued to watch over the crowd, waiting for the others to come and introduce themselves. He couldn't help but think at some point he was going to have to act like he fell victim to some sort of "snipe hunting" prank.
He continued to scan the crowd, hoping to see any faces he might recognize.

The bartender who took the order and had walked away looks back at the comment.....

He then looks at the extremly crowded bar, and procedes to make the worst Martini ever too much vermouth and the vodka came from a plastic bottle.
Slapping down a napkin he sets the drink down "15 dollars, Sir."

for about two seconds.
"Oh my gods."
What the hell had this bartender been taught how to make a drink? But it was still a drink and at this point he hoped he could get a decent one later on.

Kai stood at the bar chuckling to himself at the obvious disdain the bartender was showing towards the new guy. If this was the best the night had to offer, Kai was thankful. The last thing he wanted to see was another young person ripped to shreds...that image hadnt left him yet. It was still on his list of things to take care of. He would offer his tracking services to Davis next time he saw him. It was too early to start making moves in the vampire world without someone's blessing...
He finished his cranberry and soda, scanning the crowd for any more potential problems...

Ankh waves away the notion of a drink. Alcohol was poison to the body and soda was almost as bad. If she got thirsty, she'd just order a water later.
She looked around and wondered how so many people could waste their time here. The decor was nice enough, but the patrons were either drunk, trying to be drunk, or fooling themselves into thinking they were having a good time.
She turned to West. "Why are we here again?"
