The phone rings. Jessica is just barely between sleep and wakefulness, and it startles her a bit.
It's been a long day taking care of Stone's business. She adores him, maybe more than adores him, but goddamn that man just can't take care of himself.
The clock indicates that it's around 12:45 or so.
"Hello, Ms Jessica Lee?" The phone purrs, "We were hoping you could help us find a Mr Stone Thorn."

God Dammit who the fucking hell is calling at this hour? ...I just got to bed an hour ago.
Jessica flailed around for the phone for a moment, annoyed at the piercing chirp that tore her from her dreams.
She flipped the phone open and put on the best face so to speak.
They used Stone Thorn. That kills any Sleeper interest on book dealings
"He's currently assisting with a "research project" in the Sacramento area. Can I ask who's calling I will forward him a message. I should be meeting him tomorrow ....well I guess today now..."
Yeah she was going to drop the fact they were calling at 12:45 in the morning.

"I am sorry to call at this hour but we do not have reliable contact number for Mr Stone. Be advised, it has been requested that he comes in. It must be tomorrow morning at latest. We have the meeting address posted at the safe house, he should know where that is. I can't say more. Good night."

Jessica rolled over and texted Stone directly before she put the phone back on the dresser and buried her head back in the pillow trying to go back to sleep.
