Ankh forwns, trying not to feel insulted and failing anyway. "You, of all people, should know that once you Awaken, your age pretty much goes out the window. Mainly because you are privey to much more information about the real world and much more responsability towards it. I would think that if you have had as many students as you say, age would make no difference."
She looks out toward the crowd again, trying to find some sign of Kai. "Besides, I am not your normal teenager. If I had not Awakened I would not have made it past the age of 14." She turns and gives him intense eyes. "I am fully aware of that fact and I do not take life lightly or irrationaly."
She smiles. "I also have a degree in psychology, so I think I have surpassed the standered MO of your typical teenager."

West considered several responses, and discarded them. Apparently the girl had something to prove to someone... herself? He idly wondered if that was the cause of her earlier behavior.
He simply nodded, "See? I'm learning already. Is there anything else I should know?"
