 Evidence (ATTN: Gus and Joe)

As all three officers return to the office, there is a notice sitting on Joe's desk. He picks it up to read it:
Identities of the three women have been discovered:
Jessica Marley
Joanna Mills
Janice Bernette
Also fingerprints at all three crine scenes show two set for each:
Jessica Marley & Unknown Male
Joanna Mills & Unknown Male
Janice Bernette & Unknown Male
All three scenes contained fingerprints from the same unknown male.
None of the three women were sexualy assaulted. CoD: Blood loss, all three victums bled out. Autopsy shows that most of the disection occured post mordom. Difficult to tell how much was perfermed while the victums were still alive but none of the three victums lasted very long as they bled out quickly.
Jewelry found at the scene belonged to the victums. Fingerprints were found on the jewelry. Any evidence found on the bodies also belonged to the victums.

Gus nods at Joe heads down to compare the new evidence and cases with the cold case he has. He clears his desk, boots his laptop and clears off the dry erase board.
"J" Gus writes it in the center of the white board and steps back looking at it. He walks back up in a corner he writes "ritualistic". He then writes "Heterosexual Sex" in another. Lastly he writes "jewelry" in a corner.
Gus stands over the cold case has spread across his desk. Looking for links that previously may not of be deemed important.

~~NARRATION~~
From what both men can see there are a few connections in the old case and in the new.
1) All of the women have blue eyes
2) the women's height ranges from 5'6 to 5'7, none are taller or shorter
3) the women all have blonde or very light bornwn, dirty blonde hair
4) All of the women are young, between 24 to 25 years of age, none older or younger
5) All of the scenes from the old and new case have the same characteristics, no trash thirty feet around the body, females had no clothing, bodies all died of bloodloss, jewelry was found fifty feet away from the body, all video evidence reveals the same blurry individual, unidentified fingerprint found on each piece of jewelry found at the crime scenes, fingerprints match all other crime scenes
Gus looks at the first case that fits the profile, the date on the first crime scene is January 20, 1954.

Nevin's eyes go wide and his hands start moving in strange patterns before he coughs "Oh yes. Uhmmm, I'm looking for a pen. I've lost mine."
Joe winces, goes to the back of his desk and opens the secret compartment with pens in it.
"You didn't see where that came from. These things are worth gold around here." Joe pats Nevin on the shoulder and shuts the compartment.
When Nevin turns his back Joe grabs the pens and pockets them.
"I'll have to find another place. Perhaps i can put something in the water cooler." Joe muses.
"alright gus, vanessa. Lets take a look at these dates."
Joe spread out the oddly cold and icy reports

Venessa frowns. "Yes, I'm following, but I don't think you're going to find a pattern with the locations, other then the one that is already there."
She steps close to Joe and leans over the table, pointing to each location in turn. "Look, they are all parks, or something close enough." She holds her hand out for the files Gus has. He hands them over and she starts flipping through them. She marks down the locations for the murders back in '54. Most of them are either in parks, or where parks used to be back then. "See? The "pattern" was the same back then too. This guy has a hard on for parks it seems. Or he likes to put the bodies in places that are public, where he knows they'll be found quickly."
She goes to hand the files back to Gus, then stops. "Hang on a second." She flips through them again and also looks at the information on the new murders. "They also were all found really early in the morning. Like between 5:30 and 7:30 AM. As if he knew when these places would start having people show up."

Gus was still disturbed at the 54 year gap on a low profile cold case. Later I need to see if this case is popular on the net or was show cased in a new show or something he thought. Hell maybe the gap is only there because we don't know of the others killing. Shit now we are looking at state and intra state work...what a fucking pain in the ass.

As they begin compiling the list... Joe muses aloud.
"Though why did he stop? What ended in 1954 that started again now, or something similar? If we assume its the same guy. If its a copycat we'll find out soon enough."

"OK I checked with the state police and sent out some feelers to other states. But as far as I can tell there aren't any other murders matching this MO anywhere else. I mean, we'll know for sure in a day or so, but I don't think they'll find anything."

Joe finds a notation in the old case file. It would seem the case was put into the cold case file about thirty years after the murders began. The note also states that the same MO did show up four more times over that thirty year period, but the murder rate in the city at that time made it nearly impossible for the police to pinpoint if it was the same killer or not.
Then, continuing to flip through the file, Joe notices that any and all work regarding the case just stopped, until today.

Gus was ready to call it a day, but intrigued by the thought of what Venessa's idea maybe he decided not to pack it in just yet.
He looked around at all the cold cases and wondered how many may be connected to this one.

A short time later there would be murmurs heard in the hallway of the homicide division. A man had made his way up to the offices and was asking for Det. Blas. He was dressed in a long black trench coat and his face was wrapped in a mess of bandages that made him look like his just fell out of a Darkman movie.

"Calvin, please please, come in." She took his arm and began leading him to the basement. "We're looking at some stuff down here right now, why don't you join us?"
She led him down the stairs. "Joe, Gus, this is Calvin. He is a psychic authorized to work with the police. Calvin, this is Detective Joe and Detective Gus."
