Asa shook his head. "Not really stupid at all. I've thought there was a good chance that all the 'symbolism' used was merely diversionary, I was just hoping the plant's origins might lead somewhere. As it is right now, we're..." He stopped speaking, not wanting to criticize policy, then continued, "... trying to follow every lead we have. Hierophant, I do thank you for your time, and I'll be on my way."
Looking at Jason he motioned to the briefcase, "Why don't you hang onto that? I think we've established you know a lot more about plants than I do. Please keep in touch."
Asa bid the Hierophant a farewell and followed Bella and Nicolo. He didn't understand why the man looked ill, but he was glad Bella had taken him, or he would have himself.

Grazie a Dio in cielo... someone, Bella? had a hold of his arm and was leading him out and away from this place. From these... Others. Nicolo's vision, which had been tunneling badly, threatening to go black into oblivion for the past... who knows how long, began to clear. The cold, snap of night air brought clarity to his mind and he soon felt confident navigating the walk on his own again.
His long fingers went automatically into his suit pocket, searching out some relief. Soon he had an MS Filtro lit and dangling from his mouth. "So, where to now?"

Holly thanked Paresh for his time, said goodbye, and went to the outside of the church. The guy with Bella was strange, but she figured Bella could handle it. More importantly, she wanted to talk to this Jason guy to find out what he knew about what had caused her to go all wonky earlier. Were the plants the cause?

~NARRATION~
Jason takes the case from asa and then follows Bella out...wondering why she even bothers with this waist of Kindred...they should dump the baggage and get some real work done.
Jason then stops to talk to Hollie while Bells attempts to bring her covenant mate out of his fugue.
