Bella pulls into the parking lot of the church and gets out of the car. She is glad she got her temper under control before coming to see the Heirophant. She really did not want an incident between the Crone and the Sanctum, not with the city in such a state. She turns to Jason and smiles.
"I think you'll like Paresh. He's a pretty cool guy. Kind of creepy, but what does one expect from a Haunt, eh?"
She waits for Nicolo and Holly to arrive before going into the church.

Nicolo thumbed in a few quick keys on his phone before getting out of his car at the 'Others' church behind Bella and Jason.

Alright, time to get to the bottom of something. He hit 'send' and got out of his car. There was a someone else there, another Kindred. He went over to introduce himself. He forced down the rage, kept it in check.

Bella's phone went off. "Hey Holly, how ya been babe?" She asks Holly with a smile. She notices the look in Holly's eyes and gives the woman a once over. She really wasn't that bad and Bella swung in every direction, so, who knows?
She typed up a quick text and then closed the phone. "All right peeps, let's get this show on the road."
Turning, she walks into the church.

Holly would have blushed if she could at the look Bella gave her, then nodded and introduced herself before entering the church. "I'm Holly," she said, offering her hand to each of the new men.
After they entered, she nodded curtly at Paresh's greeting. "Hello, Paresh," she replied, then spared a smile down to the girl clutching Bella. "I hope all is well for you all tonight."

I've calmed down somewhat in the past fifteen minutes, and I stretch as I get out of the car, taking a deep breath and scenting the place to get my barings.
I keep just a bit behind Bells, hands shoved into the pockets of my riding jacket, even if I had straightened it and checked my hair in the mirror (someone needs to do something about the fact we show up blurry, by the by. It's freaking annoying). Shit...I'm the Successor to a Cyclical Dynasty, and the next one to sleep.
I've never been vain (my sire), or flirty (Justin), or bookish (The Doc), until we started this. Now I'm a whole-bunch of those things, while they all seemed to have gotten a bit...snarkier.
So here we go, and once again I want to drop kick a person who would Embrace a kid. Christ....both the Prince and the Seneschal of Las Vegas, as well as the Sanctified Primogen, all were teenagers when they'd been Embraced, and now there's an eight-year old.
Remind me to kill a few sires in the next century or so, yeah?
I give an upward nod to the Holly-Hound, then follow the Hierophant and everyone else inside.
I'm sure this will be rather...interesting.

Bella smiles at Valencia, but pries her off. "Not right now, sweetie. I have to talk to Paresh for a minute."
The little girl pouts, but she goes back to her game with Makko.
Bella turns to Paresh and smiles. "It is nice to see you, my friend. We have a situation in the city right now and we have been granted some information. I think you may be able to help us expand our knowledge. My friend Jason Andrews here is a botanist and has taken a look at these plants we have plaguing us. He says they look like a type of plant that was developed by the Crone down south. A type of Bella Donna that thirsts for vitae?"
She waves her hand at Jason. "I think Mr. Andrews here can explain it much better then I."
She looks at Jason with an apologetic smile. "Can you elaborate for the Heirophant please?"

Holly raised her eyebrows slightly, but tried to keep a straight face. A plant? That sucked vampire blood? Too weird. And why had Davis sent her to these guys? Could a plant have really caused what she had felt?

"A cotoriemate of mine when I was nomadic was from New Orleans. While I was learning about Botany, I heard about that group. They're from the Deep-South."
I really hope I don't get my face ripped off because frankly? I have absolutely nothing against the Crone. Hell...my 'daughter' Soo Jin was thinking of joining the Crone.

Asa pulled up to the church, parked his car, grabbed the Zero, and headed in. If this didn't get him anywhere, he might stab himself with the thorn before the night was over.
Walking in, he was surprised to see Paresh did indeed have 'lots of company.' He frowned slightly upon seeing one of them was Jason Andrews. He had met Bella and Nicolo at the party, but the other woman, and the child were unfamiliar to him. Quelling his snarling Beast, he was glad that so many had theirs hidden.
"Hello... Hierophant, Ms. Orchid, Mr. Andrews, " he greeted everyone he knew, and nodded to the others. "Hello, I'm Asa." He held up the briefcase slightly and looked at Paresh and Jason. "I've got a sample here from the recent weed problem," he said, with a questioning look at the woman and little girl, unsure if he should say more.

Asa nodded and set the briefcase down. Opening it, there were a cigar case, set of chain maille gloves, and a pair of forceps. He carefully opened the cigar case, revealing a crushed thorn with a large purple flower attached, likewise flattened.
He unconsciously rubbed his arm as he stepped back so everyone could see. "This came from the Scotts residence, and matches the type found by Ash... but is different from the plant found at the Circle of Creation. Both types that I've seen are aggressive and mobile," he said, explaining the forceps and gloves.

...and that thought was in really, really bad taste.
"Though it looks like someone...fucked with it's genetics. It's overdeveloped, and it shouldn't be attached to the Thorn the way it is. That's just...strange."

Bella looked at the flower, but ti seemed like a plant to her and nothing she recognized. She turned to Jason.
"Do you know how someone could have done this? I mean, you tweek the genetics of some plants yourself, don't you?"
She shook her head, totally baffled by the entire situation. "How the hell does someone ghoul a plant anyway. Yeah the theory is sound because it is a living thing, but......the idea of it is completly foreign to me."

Asa sighed as he listened. Other than an actual name, he didn't have any more than he had started with. He also needed to see a man about a dog, as it were, since the Sheriff and the other Deputy were occupied. Which presented it's own little problem, as they both had talents he did not. Besides, he had heard that Davis had was trying out Andrews as a Hound.
Asa nodded, looking at Jason, and gestured to the briefcase, "Well, it sounds as if you may know what to do with this, whereas I don't. Right now I need to find someone well-versed in Auspex and track down a renegade before they do something foolish again." Asa held up his phone, "If you could keep me in the loop, I'd appreciate it. Feel free to call if there's anything I can do."
