Erika knew she was outclassed, at least in regards to this business with plants, and as she sat in the library, a thought came to her. She quickly composed an e-mail to her sire, Sumarhet.
Dear Master Sumarhet,
I certainly hope all is well in New York. I do so miss home, but the wheel turns, as they say. I do, however, need your assistance. Sacramento is plagued with some very strange killers; they use plants that have been..conditioned to eat our blood, and no one seems to know much about them beyond theories of who might be behind this. I know it's not much to go on, but anything that could be of help would be useful.
