Aurelie stumbles past the second dry husk of a body, looking herself now at least her clothes rotted with time and age, falling off of her stunning form. Her hair is disheveled , eyes wide and panicking, not knowing where she is....or who she is for that matter.
She wanders the halls of Asylum's inner sanctum, shaking all over feeling where there once was a stake in her pale skin.
"Bonjour?" she breathes almost to herself, not sure if she wants an answer.

"Bonjour." Cozette replies as she comes around the corner then stops dead in her tracks. "What on earth happen to you, dear?" She asked in utter shock. Pulling her own coat off of her shoulders, she wraps it around the poor woman and leads her to a private room.
Inside is a bed, a chair, a harness looking thing hanging from the ceiling, a closet, and a chest at the foot of the bed.
Cozette leads her to the bed and sits her down. She opens the closet and begins to rummage through the clothes, trying to find something to fit the woman. All the while, she is peppering the woman with questions.
"My lord, what happened to you? Did someone do this to you? I certainly hope it was not here. If so, you must give me their name immediately and we will notify the police at once." Her french accent becoming thicker as her voice betrays her shock and anger at this woman's appearence.

Cozette pulls a few items of clothing out of the closet and comes to stand before the woman. "Well, it is nice to meet you Aurelle. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I do know you, I am sorry."
She lays out the clothing on the bed and turns around to give the woman some privacy.
"There you go, put those on and then maybe we can figure out where you came from, Aurelle."

Où est Lioni ? she asks desperately, starting to panic.
How could they forget me? How long have I been in torpor! This is horrible. She shakes her head, staring at the clothes that would be considered whorish in her time.
Cozette, you...mon ami! How can you not remember me? she trembles, terrified now, were she able to cry the girl would be bawling.

Cozette goes rigid.
Embraced her? Lioni doesn't have any childer! She never embraced anyone......ever!
Cozette's mind begins to race and she has no idea what to say.
"I don't know what to tell you Miss." She says stiffly, appalled that this woman would even suggest such a thing.
This must be a joke.
"I think the best thing to do right now is get yourself dressed and cleaned up. We have showers available here if you would like to use one. I will take you to it. Then, we will wait for Lady Dupree to return and you can speak to her yourself."
Her demeanor has completely changed from warm and comforting to cold and disconnected, as she turns to lead Aurelle to the showers.

Cozette leads her to the showers and starts the water for her. She makes sure it is not too hot or too cold before giving the woman her attention.
"I will contact Ms. Dupree while you clean up, dear. I am sure she will come back very soon to speak with you. Right now, you need to calm yourself and get yourself presentable. I will be in the other room just over there if you need me."
She leaves the shower room, closing the door behind her. As soon as the latch clicks into place, Cozette pulls out her phone and begins to text her Regnant.

Aura looks around at the bewildering space, showers having never looked like this in her time. She startles herself with the plastic bottles that have a pump to get out shampoo, but evenutally figures it out, taking one of the longest showers ever mostly because it takes her a good twenty minutes to figure out the soap and conditioner, and how to turn off the water.
She manages to finish up, getting out and drying her slightly curled hair, pulling on the whoreish clothing that consists of plain dark pants and a soft sweater, she marvels at the weaves of cloth, the zippers on the pants and the soft sheepskin shoes comfortable for house wear.
She finally comes out.
Cozette? Mon Ami? Is she coming? Lioni?

Cozette looks the woman over, giving a nod of approval before answering.
"She is in a meeting with the Seneschal at the moment, but will return here as soon as she is done. We can wait in my office. Please, follow me."
Cozette then leads the woman through a maze of hallways until finally reaching a door. She opens it and motions for Aurelle to go ahead of her before entering and closing the door behind her.
The room is sparsely furnished with a desk, a comfortable desk chair and two other comfortable looking chairs in front of the desk. Cozette motions for Aurelle to have a seat, before taking the seat behind her desk
"Now, please explain to me why you think Lioni embraced you."

She had one of her episodes and Embraced me, you helped her teach me and train me to be apart of the Invictus...I think...I know you did! Why can't you remember me Coeur Cozette? I...I did something bad, I can't remember what, she had a fit of rage....I think she attacked me, that is the last thing I remember....

"I am sorry, Aurelle, but I do not remember you. As far as I knew, or thought I knew, Lioni has never sired anyone. Hell, I thought I was the only Ghoul she'd ever had. If what you are saying is true, then I am very wrong and I do not know my Regnant as well as I thought I did."

Cozette leans back in her chair. She didn't know what to make of this woman. Surely she would remember if Lioni had ever sired a childe, but could it be possible Lioni had messed with her head and made her forget? She frowns with that thought. Lioni wouldn't do that to her, would she?
Feeling a bit depressed herself at the moment, Cozette leans forward and pats the woman gently on the shoulder.
"I am sure Lady Dupree will explain everything when she gets here Aurelle."
She had damn well better. She thinks with a hint of anger.

Aurelie's eyes get a bit brighter, the beast in her starting to roar. How dare Cozette tell her she is wrong! How DARE she....She can almost feel her blood rising, a shiver going down her spine. The chiming of a clock snaps her out of it, Aura glancing at the swinging time piece and following the motion of it ticking back and forth, back and forth, slowly getting herself back under control.

Lioni could not possibly have......Cozette let that thought trail off. She was perfectly aware that when her mistress was in one of her fits, nothing was impossible.

Oui...She was angry...so angry...Like she didnt know who I was...And we were all such good friends Cozette...You two came to see me at the Ballet all the time when I was dancing...I dont know what happened to her, but she was so angry..... she shakes her head.

Cozette sat back in her chair, quiet. Cozette, with her perfect memory, simply could not recall this woman. Which meant that she had no memory of her. Which meant one of two things. Either she had never met her, or-no, she refused to believe the second option.
Cozette leaned forward and nodded sympathetically, "Mon cherie, it's alright. We'll get this figured out. Lioni should be here soon. I'm sure she will know what is going on." Cozette smiled reassuringly.
