I felt like boosting my postcount now that west is doing his paperwork to shoot ahead again.

So, a biography of Dog's STing.

I first discovered role playing games through Baldur's gate, and from there explored similar games, culminating in Vampire the Masquerade--Bloodlines. That was high school.

In my freshman year of college, I met a group of people, and we were all sitting around one night, and the one person who had actually done gaming said that someone should run a game, since she couldn't. So I volunteered to run Masquerade. WIth only a cursory look at the book (the rules were the same as the videogame right?) and a half-scrambled half-raw plot, I "ran" a game for half a semester. It started with an evil plot by Ghirrideli choclate to overthrow the world through vitae laced chocolates. To run a bad game in our group is now referred to as "running a chocolate factory"

The following semester I ran an anarchs game. That game too turned fairly south fairly quickly. It ended up in Vegas with a tremere elder getting defeated by a willpower 3 ravnos.

The following fall semester I ran a sabbat game. Set in the northeast, I spent the entirety of the summer building and creating vampires and plots and schemes throughout the northeast (sandboxing before I knew what it was). The players actually enjoyed a game for once. During the fall break of that semester, I ran the werewolf demo, and finally found a game that I enjoyed running.

Spring semester of sophomore year was when I ran my werewolf game. Set in Canon city Colorado, it featured the Justicars pack that my werewolves are so familiar with. That game too was a sandbox, although confined to a small corner of a small city instead of a whole section of states. It featured hard choices and hard mysteries. One of my best games.

Then I ran Exalted: The Sidereals. I made the mistake of creating the scale too large and giving the characters too much XP to start with. It was a rough game.

Last fall I ran another werewolf game, where roadnottaken and Faravyn (whenever he gets around to finishing his character) played in. It was intended as a way to teach a bunch of freshman all about werewolf. For the most part, they enjoyed the game quite a bit. (enough that 2 of 5 came to this site at my invitation).

Currently I'm running this werewolf game, and greatly enjoying it. I am also running a TT game of Promethean.
