Lioni hangs up the phone and gets her purse. She looks at Antoinette with a frown.
"Yes, I understand you may have briefly met before, however this will be a much more intimate meeting and you may have some explaining to do. You will be on your best behavior and if you have another one of those outbursts, you will go back to your sire and stay there for another week before we have another lesson. Is that understood?"
Without waiting for an answer, Lioni went out the back door and climbed into Antoinette's limo, waiting for the girl to come climb in next to her.

Explaining to do? What the hell for? This woman ran hot and cold like, well, like a crazy bitch! It was just impossible to anticipate how she'd react at any given moment.
Still, it was so good to be O-U-T!
Antoinette replied with the only phrase she logically had in her arsenal at this point. "Yes ma'am." She wasn't going to throw this freedom away, after all. Or the potential for a little more.
She followed Lady Dupree out to the waiting vehicle, a few paces behind to show some respect, and climbed in after her.

Kalos glanced up from the work on his desk at Mrs. Scott's words.
"Of course Mrs. Scotts- if you don't mind waiting here I will be right back." He motioned toward one of the guest chairs in the room and left to retrieve the dropped guns from their secure location. He let his office door swing shut before laying the wrapped bundle on his desk. Opening the wrappings to reveal the guns he stepped back a step to give her access but made no indication of planning on leaving.

She first examines the guns, looking at them as a arms seller would, evaluating use and damage. Type and manufacturer and manufacturing country. Checks for a serial number.
Next, she graps the first gun, and Probes its history.
"Speak to me your secrets." She orders it out loud.

The car ride was quiet as Lioni went over the paperwork in Antoinette's envelope to get herself better acquainted with it.
When they arrived at the theater, Lioni motioned for Antoinette to go ahead of her and followed her into the building. As soon as they stepped through the thresh-hold, Lioni led Antoinette to Kalos' office.
She knocked softly, not knowing if he had company or if he was even in there at all.

Antoinette stands near Lady Dupree trying to wait patiently. She takes a discrete look at the time on her phone and wonders idly what time that concert starts. And when she'll get a chance to ask Lady Dupree if she can attend it.

"I assume you will be giving a full report on what you found to Twist." Kalos said smoothly as he moved forward and began to rewrap the bundle. "I will let her know that you have finished and can expect it. I hope you have a pleasent evening Mrs. Scotts."
Leaving the room with Mrs. Scotts, Kalos parts ways and returns the weapons to their prior location.

Twist hadn't been able to concentrate on paperwork as she waited for Lioni and her companion, so instead she had wandered around her office doing odds and ends. At the small knock she moved to the door and opened it. She stood before Lioni and Antoinette in khaki dress slacks and a sky blue blouse with a neckline that dipped a finger's width below the professional standard. Her hair was coiled in ringlets that framed her face and the light blue half mask that she wore.
"Lioni- please come in."

Lioni entered the office and took a seat. She waited for Antoinette to do the same before speaking to the Seneschal.
"Seneschal, I am glad to see you are well this evening. I am sorry to be the barer of bad news, but I am afraid I have something very disturbing to show you."
She indicated Antoinette. "I am sure you remember Miss Antoinette from Asa's gathering? She is the one who brought this to my attention."
She produced the envelope and handed it to the other woman. Then, sat back to wait for the Seneschal to read it.

Bearer of bad news? Something disturbing to show you? Good lord, had Lady Dupree finally completely lost it? It was just a stupid police report. Just something her friend had handed her on a whim. What was the big deal? Maybe this seneschal person had family that were wanted for alleged crimes or something and this had something to do with it. She was a Daeva, after all.
Antoinette smiled politely when her name was mentioned, then lowered her eyes immediately after. She could probably look up some apps for her phone, or play a few games. IDracula has been pretty fun. Probably neither of them would care, they were SO freaked out over the report. She'd read it. It didn't even anything to do with murder!
But, she thought twice and let her phone slip back in her bag. Folder her hands and sat quietly.

Twist had gathered that it was important news that Lioni brought when she talked to her on the phone but she had assumed it was bad news for the city...they way she was talking now made it seem serious for her personally.
Moving to take her own seat, she nodded at Antoinette and then removed her mask, setting it on the desk.
"I hope that you are finding the city to your liking so far Antoinette."
Taking the folder from Lioni's hand and opening it began to scan through the contents. Half down the page she flipped to the photo and a frown creased her forehead. She flipped back to the report and began to reread it, slower and with more care this time. When she had finished reading, she didn't look up at the two infront of her but let her eyes linger on the photo of the man.
Exhaling a sigh, she let the folder fall lightly to the desk. She looked up at Lioni.
"This is a light masquerade breach." Her voice was steady but an undercurrent of anger overlaid by sorrow was clear to both women.
"Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will speak to the Sheriff and we will deal with this issue. Before that though- the report mentions a church. Which one was it? Also- the autopsy killer suspect? I remember hearing briefly about it on the news but I don't recall the details. Are either of you able to fill me in?"

Lioni forwns. "Light Masquerade breech? I am sorry Seneschal but I fail to see how this is light at all. The Autopsy Killer is the one who has been carving up women for the last eight months or so and leaving their bodies in parks out in the open for anyone who stumbles across them to find. Including the police who have been investigating these murders for some time now."
She is not happy about this either, but the Seneschal needed to wake up and pay attention to what was going on around her.
"This church was formerly owned by your predecessor Kisten Maze. I am not really sure how it comes into play, but one can assume from the report that it was where Gabriel was committing the murders."

Wow! This was pretty juicy. Antoinette's ears perked up and she started paying more attention. She wondered if Baron Quinton knew about all this stuff. Maybe it was too soon for her to have been released from her penthouse life – this city still didn't sound so safe. Crap, what was she saying? She made a quick vow not to repeat any of this information to Quinton...

Her forehead crease deepened and a scowl pulled at her face. Her anger wasn't directed at Lioni though- rather at herself. She had paid attention to the news- old men getting attacked by monsters, children getting kidnapped , but to have missed this- months now it had been going on.
Lioni was right- this was indeed no light masquerade breach. She had been referring to the speed and strength Gabriel had shown to the police. But they had written it off as drugs. That was not desirable but it was dealable with. But being a wanted killer who had the police chasing him. Her teeth flashed as she snarled at nothing in her silent anger. But below the anger was something else. A small voice that cried out at the coming loss of such an incubus. Oh what a loss...
Not bothering to hide her anger Twist spoke slowly and clearly.
"His life is forfiet. For breaching the masquerade I am calling a Bloodhunt upon Gabriel Marcus of clan Daeva and Carthian covenant."

"Lady Seneschal, to clarify this, you are calling a Bloodhunt on Gabriel Marcus, of clan Daeva and the entire Carthian convenent?"

Twist returned Lioni's surprised look with her own.
"Entire Carthian Covenant?" Understanding dawned on her and she shook her head quickly and a quicksilver smile flashed across her face. While it didn't remain, it was enough to chase away the edge of her anger and bring a measure of control to her inside self.
"No- absolutely not. Bloodhunt only on him. I added the rest because there have been a few kindred who share similar names. I do not know of another Gabriel Marcus, but to be sure, I wanted to clarify which one it is that I am calling the hunt on. Gabriel is of my clan which you where aware of, but he is also the current head of the Carthian group of the city. Does that clarify my attempt to clarify?"

Lioni gives a smile of her own and nods. "Yes, Lady Seneschal. That will do nicely, I am sorry-"
Her sentence is cut off as her phone buzzes and she looks at it with a frown. Suddenly, a look of shock and horror crosses her face and she glances quickly at Twist, hoping the woman missed the look, but doubting it.
"I am sorry that you have been required to Bloodhunt one of your own clan-mates, Seneschal." Lioni says, trying to regain her composure. "But, I am afraid I don't see any other alternative. I would suggest getting the word out to all those who need to know. I can contact the Harpies if you wish. Unfortunately, I must take my leave. There is a situation at Asylum that I must respond to immediately."

So much seemed to be happening so fast. This bloodhunt thing looked like it would have proved entertaining for hours. But something more immediate was wrong now.
"Lady Dupree? Are you alright? I'll have the car pulled round immediately so we may leave."
Antoinette texted her driver so he'd be waiting for them as soon as they stepped out of the building.
