| Having driven unnoticed past the bus stop, John settled back into a more comfortable rhythm of looking around for any problems and keeping his eyes open for any fool who thought to move faster than the road allowed. The had started in a particularly alarming way, but perhaps it would end in a more pleasant fashion? Still considering the significance of such a strange occurance as he had just witnessed John drove on towards downtown and a work shift that wouldn't start for a long while... |

I got the picture that your character started doing a Pledge right there in the middle of a busy street next to a crowded bus stop. Anyway, disregarding the rather blunt rhetoric that was a pretty neat One-Sided Pledge (RoS, page 35)  |

| Morning traffic was awful as always, but at least John had plenty of time to go to work, since he had been doing the graveyard shift the night before yesterday, and now he wasn't expected to show up until sometime around noon. Thing was, if he stopped moving around John felt awfully uncomfortable. So, here he was: driving to work about four hours before his shift started and feeling better, because he was hidden in a mass of moving cars, busses and trucks all slowly trudging in the same direction. Driving along a busy street towards downtown in a black BMW, John sighed heavily as he thought about the things he had seen during the graveyard shift: there had been a stabbing, a car crash that had almost gotten out of hand on a busy freeway and then that OD case in a neighborhood that made all of the EMTs nervous. The car was idling along the busy road at a leisurely 20 mph, when he looked to the right and saw the bus stop. For a moment he couldn't believe his eyes. For the last few weeks he had been keeping strictly to himself, as far as other Changelings went, here there was a whole meeting going on! The whole thing stank of danger: these people were just sitting there, out in the open, like they were waiting to be picked up by a wandering True Fae! Flicking his eyes forward John performed a mental exercise, and relaxed the foot that was tensing up on the gas pedal: there was nothing to it, but cruise along and hope that none of those Changelings drew attention to him.  |

| Quick Human Description: A lean and gaunt caucasian male of middling height, without any hair and only minimal facial hair. John's most prominent facial features are the dark circles around his eyes, which are grey. A thick leather coat protects him from the cold and damp places of the world, sneakers provide a quick exit when necessary, and worn jeans allow him to blend in. Quick Changeling Description: Inhumanly gaunt and lean humanoid, with no ears, nose or body hair of any kind. The classic “grey” look, although John is actually the size of a regular human being. Slim and delicate extremities with stick like fingers and toes. A slender and elongated neck, which supports a head the shape of an American football placed point on top of the neck. There’s a red cross tattooed on John’s forehead. |
