Hearing the commotion, Gwen lets out a short First Tongue curse "Shi'it!" before taking what position she can, and giving a kick in the general area of the door handle, hoping to break off only the handle and lock. She figures a hole in a door will attract less attention than a wide-open window. She stays in Hishu, for much the same reason.
The blow delivered, she takes a step into the house. |

| Gwen was, exceptionnally, accompanying Ethan in his car, instead of her own. Blasted thing had a broken brake line. "Not much; I've faced off against a lot of things, but not too many of those." The bit about having faced a lot is a wide exaggeration, but hey, who's gonna know? She shrugs. "From what I know, they're closer to us than spirits or humans. Like any spirit, figure out their ban, and you've got them by the balls." She gives a small half-smile. "Unless we can figure out its ban, we'll have to do this the old-fashioned way; Claws and teeth." |

| Gwen comes out of the bathroom a scant few moments after Kellie, not bothering to switch back to Hishu. "Phew. Done. Who's next?" She looks quizzically at the remaining Uratha. At JJ's confirmation, Gwen motions her into the bathroom. Before starting, she says with a smile "I like the outfit. Classy. Now, give me your hand, and brace yourself. This is gonna sting." With that short warning given, Gwen uses her Dalu claw to pierce JJ's palm, and starts drawing circles of blood on the back of each item : First the back of the jacket, the sleeve of a shirt, the purse, and so on until the rite has been completed, and the blood fades entirely from the clothes.

| ((Just read up on the rite's details. Ignore the pulling out of the knife, since says the blood has to be taken with a claw)) Gwen takes a look at the clothes. "Yeah, that'll work." She offer nothing more about her opinion of the outfit; If the guy wants to look like that everyday, who is she to argue? "Here goes nothing." At that, she goes to Dalu form, with much protest from the chair.
She holds her enlarged hand out to Kellie "Give me your hand." Once he has, she gives him a simple "This is going to sting." before cutting the palm of his hand with one of her claws. She gather s a few drops of the blood, and silently gets to work, drawing circular patterns on each piece of clothing, then the wallet with chain attached. Once she is done drawing the circle on each item, the blood starts to fade in as though it were never there. ((Everyone feel free to talk/act in the middle of that post. I just felt like doing the whole rite in a single post, but the circle-drawing is supposed to take a few minutes)) ((Rolls for Kellie's dedication follow. I applied a -2 modifier -> -1 'cause we're in the suburbs, and another -1 for any miscellaneous stuff. Or if we're downtown, -2 straight up))

If not, I'll edit this when I get home, around 5 PM EST)) Gwen waits a second before responding. "Sure. I'll use your bathroom, it'll be less messy." She fishes out a small pocket knife, roughly the size of a nail clipper. "Just make sure you have everything you need with you; Wallets, purses, rings, all that. Save me the trouble of doing it again." That last part is almost a mumble. |

| Gwen arrives, if not late, then pretty much on the second. She could guess that the invitation was about Uratha business (not much else for Ethan to want to discuss, after all), so she decided to wear the same non-descript shirt and pants she wore during their hospital run. Dedicating separate suits every night wuold just be too much trouble. Arriving at Ethan's, she gives the door a firm signle-knuckled knock, and waits for an answer. |
