At first simple shapes seem to form from complex patterns on clothes and flat surfaces. As the vulgarity and strength of the spell intensity symbols soon start to appear on simple patterns and finally even blank surfaces. This reflects pareidolia with the exception that the effect leans heavily towards symbols used by world religions.

Chris knew what he wanted in life from an early age but was never able to fully grasp how to get there. As his two older siblings both grew into their roles in life he instead floundered and tried to not embarrass his family. If his parents had known their youngest child had a habit of getting into fights to prove he could win and other risky behaviors maybe they would have watched him more closely. Instead Chris was left to his own devices until his new Mother called to him on a cloudy moonless night.

Then his world change and shortly afterwards he found the loudest angriest people he could find and joined their club. Except that club was a Tribe and now Chris grins as he hears the beat of the Destroyer in his heart.

==Death==
It wasn't supposed to end with half the pack dead and the other half running but it did. Their Beta had joined with things that made spirits look normal. Things ripped apart Chris's friend and the pack's Crescent. What should have been smooth was ugly and red. In the end only the Alpha, Chris, and the Omega made it out. Whatever had been there followed them. Not up close but at a distance. Their totem fled and no spirits would willing speak with them.

So they fled, hoping to find some way to deal with this problem. Then a decision was made without Chris knowing. The Irraka finds himself packless and friendless in Sacramento.

Good thing there's people around.

In seeking to grasp the higher order of the Supernal World, many mages look beyond the artificial reality constructed and maintained by mankind, toward the world of nature. While others leaf through dusty tomes or gaze into the smooth, polished surfaces of mirrors or glass balls in their secluded sanctums, there are those willing to step outside and draw knowledge and power from a greater world not of their own making. They read their incantations and prophecies in the stir of branches in the wind and the fall of leaves. They draw power and strength from the green, growing world.

There is a secret language in nature, and from those who are able to read it nothing in the Fallen World may be hidden, for all things are interconnected and everything is reflected in everything else. Nature displays its treasures for all to see, but unfolds in ways that few can ever fully comprehend, changeless only in its ever-changing evolutions, devolutions and revolutions. The diligent mage may divine the intricate syntax and grandiose grammar of this secret language, glimpsing even deeper secrets in the Mists that enshroud mysteries beyond mortal comprehension.

Most would halt or turn back, but some press on into this nature beyond nature, this “supernature,” if you will. In the Mists can be found the implicit order from which the visible world grows, the sleeping giants whose bodies are the land, whose breath is the wind, of whose voices the thunder is but an echo. Here is where the faces of nymphs shine through flower and fruit and leaf, where the dances of sylphs trace breeze and gale, where gnomes churn away at the molten heart of the mountain. This is where magic is born, and even the mightiest mage must tread carefully or not at all.

The Walker in Mists reaches beyond the seen into the unseen, tapping magic at the source of all life as was done in times long forgot. Other mages look within themselves, or up at distant heavens, but the Walker actually travels in the world seeking realms of pure enchantment. He knows the deep caverns of the earth where dragons yet sleep, and what ancient invisible roads lead to the fae countries.

It was the Walker in Mists who first taught mankind to mark the trails it followed and to recognize landmarks that could lead unerringly from region to region. Rather than following seasonal growth or available game, mankind could choose its own path to its destiny. In short, he taught us not simply to migrate, but to actually travel. To the more settled folk he gave games of chance — the vagaries of which teach, in miniature, the mysteries of fate and destiny — that they too might experience the adventure of the unknown.

But with the spread of civiliza- tion, mankind forgot the wisdom of the Walker, taking his gifts for granted and detaching itself from the rhythms and cycles of the natural world. Even his games of chance — once used to divine the very will of the gods themselves — degenerated into a competitive orgy of materialistic greed, attracting crime and corruption. As broad, well-traveled roads carved up the wilderness and creased the face of the earth, the Walker found it increasingly necessary to rely upon ley lines to guide him invisibly through the Mists from grove to lake to mountain as he visited the few remaining sacred sites. In modern times, he is completely marginalized, a loner patrolling the fringes of the overdeveloped world.

==Biography==
Joseph Hartman does not know his real name. Joseph Hartman was the name given to him of the kindred he killed his last night in the tomb. His Sire has an interesting way of testing to see if new childer are worthy. Throwing them into a tomb with others and seeing which ones survive. Thus Joseph was one of the lucky ones, in a way. His rebirth from the tomb and naming started him down the path he has followed to this day.

He is now a member of the [[Ordo Dracul]] and was the Whip of the [[Ventrue]] clan at one point in time by being the only one to stand for it. Not exactly what he had planned but showing weakness wasn't allowed either.

==Sacramento==
Joseph managed to remain on the sidelines of kindred politics and social maneuvers for some time. Despite going into the sewers with the other Dragons and interrogating the captured kindred he did not rise far, through lack of trying or not. However with his recent work into discovering more about a blade that was found to be possessed by some sort of entity he has managed to propel himself higher in the Ordo and joined the ranks of the Sworn. With his new role in the Ordo he has found himself more confident and now plans to enter the maelstrom known as kindred politics.

==Ascension==
Shortly after his ascent to the ranks of the Sworn of the Dying Light. The Oracle Shadow left the city, this left Joseph as the sole Sworn in the Domain and leader of the Ordo Dracul, until the arrival of [[Anasztaz]] Veres.

As of early April 2011 Joseph has fallen into torpor as the result of some luck by the homeless. He was found by a group of kindred as a result of [[Dusk Til' Dawn]]. At the time Joseph was found with his arms and legs...detached...crudely.

Early July of 2011 Joseph awoke confused and covered in blood in the Ordo's Chapter House, sans limbs.

==Sacramento==

Jeremiah Changed under the Crescent Moon after he had graduated college. He was found by a group of elder wolves. One of them, [[Vincent Bailey]], took him along to meet the rest of [[Sworn Pack|The Sworn]]. Which at the time was Last Laugh and [[Gwen Barty]] the Alpha.

Some time later Gwen abrubtly left town, followed closely by Vincent. After that Jeremiah assumed the role of Alpha with [[Kevin Swift]] as the only other member of the Sworn. They have gathered more wolves and are establishing The Sworn once again.

Things got ugly as time went on. Jeremiah's lack of true leadership lead to a dysfunctional pack at best. This came to ahead when Kevin violated Nu Bath Githul and the pack's dysfunction was brought to the attention of the Urdaga of Sacramento. Failing even then to behave as a proper Alpha and now utterly convinced of his ineptness at the job Jeremiah completed his final act as the Alpha of the pack through the Rite of Contrition to Luna. The Incarna responded to the Rite and those pack members judged by the Blind Judge felt themselves become whole once again. It left Jeremiah with one singlar thought, his failures now left Kevin alone bearing the judgment of Blind Judge.

Shortly after the confrontation at Tur Jeremiah spoke privately with '''Marcus Baines''' and the mantle of Alpha was handed off to a wolf that Jeremiah feels is far better suited for the position.

==Biography==
Ariande's mortal life ended and her life as an Awakened began with the sound of a Judge's gavel heralding the end of her days as a rising socialite married to a rising politician. A week and a half later her ex-husband and his new fiance were dead in an apparent car accident and Ariadne was on her way towards joining the Awakened community. She was sent to Sacramento to bolster the Veil, though she suspects that some were tired of her.

Ariadne works to maintain the Labyrinth and establish contacts through it.

She rose to the position of Epopt when the previous Epopt [[Henry Pym]] requested a meeting and revealed that he was leaving Sacramento for other things. In addition to this shock he revealed several pieces of information of importance to Ariadne. In early 2015 Ariadne handed over the position to a more worthy soul

Falx was an [[Obrimos]] and member of the [[Adamantine Arrow]]. His ghost now resides with his brother [[Tug]].

==Biography==
Falx stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 230 pounds. He is two years out of the military after his awakening caused some issues with him leading his squad. Mainly that he refused to risk their lives over things that seemed small to him. Needless to say this didn't go well and the Arrow had him discharged and sent to learn what it meant to be a mage. He has a habit of taking a weapon with him where ever he goes. Refusing to say whether it is the result of his time in the military or simply a precaution he doesn't take lightly to people telling him to not carry weapons. His brown hair and brown eyes help him blend in a bit with sleepers.

When he vulgar magic the sound of a modern battlefield can be heard in the distance. The yells and screams of people interrupted by gun fire and explosions. Above the seen the sky seems to part and shine light down on the area he is in. When it is truly forcefull Falx appears en wrapped by fire.
