A meeting of the Path of the Thistle takes place at the Sacramento Public Library. [{{thread}}30637 ]

==Something Wicked This Way Comes==
Aside from a cart full of Ray Bradbury books and some crappy library coffee and tea, there's not much prep work done by Nous for this meeting. It's a meeting that has business that needs tending. They can have a meeting with less serious and more fun in the Spring. Unfortunately, that's why she brought the stack of copies of the old Lex Magica. It was to be the topic of conversation. Not exactly the most exciting of agendas. Or the most hospitable of locations.

Thankfully for most, Pepper showed up with coffee from an actually coffee house. Well, it was Starbucks which is still a far cry better than the library's coffee.

With the coffee distributed, and with everyone she expects to be there, there, Nous lays out the goal for the meaning.

Of course, that's when the ones she didn't expect arrive. There's a little discussion, and Pepper goes over the information she was able to get from Lictor Telos about the Precepts that are good, and just how bad the former ones are.

One of the new arrivals, named Falstaff, needs additional assistance from drugs to even stay awake.

There's an obvious divide between who is and isn't interested, and that's the way the meeting continues as some talk and some try to keep from falling asleep.

There were two meetings of Enchanters surrounding the Consilium meetings of July 2014. The first was held at the [{{thread}}28614 Tower Bridge Bistro] and the second was held after the Duel Arcane when [[Dal Riata]] lost to [[Aquinas]] at the [{{thread}}29080 Circle of Creation].

==Meeting at the Tower Bridge Bistro==
Miach was kind enough to set up and [{{thread}}28393 advertise] the meeting, and provided for a meeting space by the patio. Some food on a buffet, and the bar nearby, there's enough to get them social for a couple hours at least. Slowly Enchanters arrived after Miach; Pepper, Crowley, Faye, Tyria, Avalon, and finally Nous, who was last and right on time.

The Enchanters got to know each other. Tyria inquired about Nous' philosophy and they agreed that Intuition and understanding is more important than the misperception of their path.

Soon the topic of conversation turned to Councilors, and if there were none from team Acanthus. It turned out that the council was non-existent, and the consilium a mess, so Faye's suggestion was well received.

They decided that if a change were to occur, they needed a plan to move forward. Nous suggested they be prepared, and maybe just send a Councilor anyway.

They stopped talking about it when Avalon, still Hierarch, returned from the patio and her nicotine habit, socializing for a while before dispersing.

==After the Duel Arcane==
At the Duel Arcane, Avalon--who is now Dal Riata--lost to Aquinas. It was a hard fought battle, but fate was not on her side. She fell, and the Enchanters gathered to select the person who will take the seat. They debate how to select, what the purpose will be, and when to proceed. The meeting is short and sweet, and Nous volunteers, is nominated by Pepper, and all agree that it's the way forward for the future.
