==Significant events==

Surprisingly, [[Hierarch]] [[Andrade]] attended, along with [[Guardians_of_the_Veil#Titles_and_Duties|Epopt]] [[Zilker]] and [[Starling]].

[[Zero]] made a large splash by showing up to the party in a stormtrooper outfit. Before long he started shot-drinking contest, which several mages joined, including Zilker. [[Tug]], a Thyrsus ex-linebacker, surprisingly couldn't hold his liquor, and washed out after his second drink.

As the competition picked up, Andrade waved [[Animus]] over to talk about his place in the Ladder. Meanwhile drinkers continued to be weeded out, until only [[Armstrong]], Zero, and Zilker remained. Then Zilker finally succumbed to the drinks, interrupting the conversation as Andrade and Jammer moved him to a private area, with Starling following. Zero and Armstrong each threw back two more drinks before collapsing at the same time. Zero struggled to his feet before creating a second copy of himself, the two of them teleporting to his Sanctum with Armstrong -- amidst a club full of Sleepers.
