* This Merit is a Character Creation Merit and can only be purchased with the initial seven Merit dots given at character creation
* At {{dot3}}, the character gains a +1 die bonus to improvised spellcasting; at {{dot4}}, the character gains a +2 dice bonus, and at {{dot5}}, the character gains a +3 dice bonus.
* Only improvised spells gain the benefit of bonus dice.
* '''Drawback''': Rotes will be harder to learn; each level of ExAff will add +1 to the XP multiplier. At {{dot3}}, Rotes will be 3x; at {{dot4}}, 4X, at {{dot5}}, 5X.
