Born on April 10, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. Dale Hunt was born to a working class family. Growing up he was always a troublemaker in school. He was not really a bully, but he got into a lot of fights. Most of the time he was actually defending other kids from bullies, but the school administrators didn't care much for his reasons and had a zero tolerance on that sort of violent behavior. Thus, by the time he was in high school he was expelled from school. Shortly after that, Dale went through his First Change during a night in which the full moon was shining brightly over the busy streets of L.A.

During the experience, Dale lost his shit and killed a few people. He did not understand what had happened to him, and he was afraid that the cops would come looking for him. So at the age of 16, Dale ran away from home, leaving Los Angeles in the past and becoming a drifter for the next few years.

After leaving L.A. he spent much of his time running from one city to another all over the state of California. During that time Dale met others like him and they explained what he was and introduced him to the society of the Uratha. At first he remained a bit of a "lone wolf," but eventually he joined a pack of drifter Blood Talons.

Dale spent about 4 years with this pack, during which he joined the Blood Talons tribe as well. Early in 2011, his pack got into a brutal fight with a pack of Predator Kings. Dale was barely able to escape the fight with his life, but none of his packmates survived. This caused a huge depression in him for a few months, during which he mostly kept to himself.

However, for his own sanity's sake, Dale decided to go seek out other Uratha. Perhaps he could find a new pack, and maybe they could help him avenge his old one. Due to his nomadic lifestyle he had heard many rumors and stories of Uratha all over the state of California. Recently, he had heard that there was a significant group of them in Sacramento, so he decided to head that way and see what he could find.
