== Galloway at a Glance ==

August is roughly 5'11, and always dressed well in styles often resembling southern fashion, back when the South was known as a cultural sort of place in it's larger cities. Easy going by most standards, he is known to be a man who will do anything he can to help if he enjoys your company and is often very Charitable. His company tends to be from High Society, though when politics either kine or kindred come into play he's not one to complain about getting into the thick of things. He's also very dedicated to his Family, whom he considers to extend to his entire clan regardless of bloodline.

In April, August was voted Ventrue Priscus<ref>[http://nwod.org/forum/showthread.php?27064 1403 Ventrue]</ref> though he hardly...lords...that over anyone unless Clan business is on going.

*The Icarians Lineage isn't necessarily secret, he doesn't go out of his way to make his bloodline known however, so as a general rule unless he's specifically recited it in front of a character they may not be aware of his lineage and/or bloodline, that said it reads as followed;

August Tobias Galloway, of Clan Ventrue, Child of Amilleo Abascal who's sire was Corinth Bassani, Childe of Garavichi Kotipelto who's sire was Tiani Dinapole, Childe of Icarius, Archbishop of Naples, Pilgrim to the Black Abbey and anointed of Monachus.

== A Brief History ==
Note; His biography before coming to Sacramento is not public information, but August does love to ramble.

The curse came to August Tobias Galloway in a manner that he feels is the cornerstone of his claim to higher station. The universe obviously held something for August, because he's even managed to cheat death. Death came knocking on Mister Galloway's door late one October, just within the first year of the Civil War when he was stabbed by what he would describe as "a devilish Negro with a clawed hand hoe." The wound itself wasn't severe, but it became infected as puncture wounds are want to do. Ater a slow and torturous fight with infection the overly pale priest who came in the night to administer last rights had other plans. The soon-to-be-Lord's Sire had been watching the Galloway's plantation and political career for some time, and had found his wealth, political acumen and ties to his church to make him well suited by Lancea and Icarian standards for the Embrace.

August Galloway is an Icarian of Old Money and Southern stock, an Ancillea in his native Georgia. The man has done rather well for himself all things considered, but he feels he could do more. In life, he was a rather large player in the slave market as well as in the political circles of Georgia and he has made steps to assure he always has access to some of the fortune left from his time in politics, and the selling of his crops. He was never truly a religious man, and that has not changed much in death, but in the public circles in life he made sure he was seen as a very religious man, always one to attend church and speak on matters people needed persuading on when the time to vote came around. When the question of abolition came up he was even found using the good book as a shield, quoting the bible to justify slavery. In death he is as all Icarians are, very sympathetic to the Spear, though it was more sympathy of familial politics than conviction.

The Ventrue has spent most of his requiem serving his Sire, rather than the Spear directly, having figured out early on there was a hard ceiling in the family covenant. His pride would not abide limitations, you see and so he would seek to circumvent them in the ivory towers of the First Estate. The desire to strike out into the Invictus, coupled with the realization that he would forever be in the shadow of his Sire if he stayed so close, the choice was made to move, and after some very serious deliberation August arranged to be replanted in Sacramento California where he could grow properly.

Galloway still has hopes to continue to develop a rapport with the local Lancea of Sacramento once he is fully recognized by the Domain of Sacramento, though he's already focused on attaining a few mortal contacts, as always money in the right pockets can indeed buy helpful pawns.

== Recent Events ==

August was rising through the ranks, every bit as proud to work for his clan and covenant, however well all was going it wouldn't last. Walking from Elysia to his car late in the night after a busy evening of work and negotiation he simply vanished...months he was gone, months. No one knows where, not even him. The only thing he remembers was his Sire dropping him off at his car, and he had a strong limp. Without any memories of the last six months and with only an overwhelming fear and love of his Sire coming forward when he tries to dig deeper into his mind August sets off once more on his requiem with very little plans currently.

August is known to drive a ghostly white 1959 Cadillac Eldorado, fully restored to it's original condition.
