Fair fights are for fools is her motto. She'd rather they burn the mutts then whatever the goal was, funnier for one, but the Springs were in bloom.
As it was, she followed the others though occasionally sweep back behind them towards the howls. Bringing up the rear guaranteed they'd have to go through her to get to the others, and she'd not have to shoot through friends. The mutts should come running when the flames start and she'd get them fired.

Each of the Lost hear it when it happens. The howling stops. The echoing sound cuts off, as they round the corner, Circe in contrast, is the first to see them, she sees their mad all to human eyes, and their slavering jaws. Some are hunched low, others angled and arched, pointing in their direction.
There is a scant moment of quiet and stillness, just that one moment before the howling comes back, their bloody, matted paws scraping down upon the grownd!
Would the Lost stand their ground and fight, or would they flee, running to the Trod.
If y'all want to fight Initiate please, but if you want to run please give me Strength+Athletics!

MantleShe should have known better. This was a classic move for a pack of predators. Her staff passed to her tail as she came to a halt, her hands reaching into her bag as the Briarwolves came into view.
Running barely worked out last time. Maybe they'd have better luck fighting.
This time, they had Circe's guns, Sera's magic and... this.
Sonnie had produced the molotov cocktail and lit the rag fuse with a match. With a savage grin, the Beast hefted her deadly projectile and prepared to launch!

That cannot be good. It’s never good for howling to stop, especially in the Hedge.
The Nix stops dead in her tracks, seeing the wolves. And from the returned howling, and pawing at the ground, they didn’t want to offer directions.
When Sonnie stops as well, and produces one of the cocktails from her bag, Sera knew they were fighting them this time. At least they had Circe this time. And her magic, if it worked.

Fear? No she doesn't have that tonight. Rage? Plenty! The howls of the wolves are met with a war cry from the Summer Queen as she sights down the rifle at the lead wolf. For of course they charged while she was facing them.
She'd been expecting this. And while she'd have preferred a different Soviet longarm for this, the carbine would have to do for now. As it was, the mutts were heading right for her sights!
"Light 'em up!"
Init ALSO 15. If Sonja has a lit Molotov, Circe would be willing to let her throw first.

The Briar Wolves seeing their prey stop, as a collective they avoid the fire, but the fastest, quickest, surest of the Wolves barrel forward! Straight into the shiny Seraphina, it's claws out and it takes a dangerous, bloody swipe!

MantleThere's a feral snarl coming from Sonnie. Seeing Sera get mauled triggers anger in the Beast, Spring passions funneled in rage. With a wordless simian screech, she hurls the bottle at the Briarwolves, aiming for one and trying to catch as many of them in the fiery splash zone as possible (and not have the Fairest caught in it).
Going by the stats for "Incendiary" on the Explosives chart, as molotov is cited as an example.

Circe opens fire on the oncoming wolves. Her training allows her to double tap, coercing the rifle to put out three rounds rapid at the oncoming monsters.
The second wolf is her prey, taking the three rifle rounds.
Circe uses Merit Double Tap, performing a short burst from the semi-automatic rifle. It seems effective.

The Monkey's aim in true, the bottle is lobbed and shatters against the side of one of the wolves. Seconds latter the gas ignites, and the wolf and the one beside yowls! Running from the flames, even as it nips at his heels! It's mad eyes gleam as they size up Sonnie, and then the takes a wild swipe at the one who threw the bottled fire -
- and misses!
Circe, in her element rifle raised and spitting out death. The Wolf she hits is torn apart by the lead, blood gushing from the wound.
The Last Wolf on fire, in pain, and in defence of it's fallen brother, springs to action, all claws, and with a lucky swipe bloodies the blueberry elf!

Before she had a chance to react, to get off a Contract, the pain came. Crying out, she instinctively kicked at the source of the pain. The wolf. Looking to make the pain stop.
The sound of Sonnie’s Beast screech was heard, as were the gun shots. But the pain.
I applied a negative modifier figuring between the pain, and just blindly kicking, it was appropriate
