This was weird. Mhairi hadn't done something like this in years. She hadn't had a reason to in years, but all of a sudden she had the reasons.
Reasons in the shape of her Motley.
...but would it be okay? Or would seem weird?
Taking the plunge and swallowing her fear she decided to do it anyway.
For Seraphina , a Music note hair clip made of hammered nickel. Mhairi saw it and thought of the Treasured's mane of spun gold and sliver and knew this wouldn't out stage her mane, but hopefully it'll be enough to bind it up in which ever artful style the Fairest could come up with.
For Ingrid , a slight top hat with, bronze accents and a facial veil. It had taken the wisp forever to decide on something for the Darkling and she agonized over her final choice and a few others. Even still she fretted as she boxed it, and tapped the wrapping paper around it. Would the Vernal Queen like it?
And for Thomas Land if he hasn't disappeared like so many others , a pair of cuff links with quotes from Sherlock Holmes. Mhairi thought that it would be something that the always suited Librarian would enjoy. And the quote linked to their Court, and Motley, in that investigative way. Or at least Mhairi hoped it did.
Either way, the Queen of Autumn and proud Selva Oscura member finished wrapping the gifts so they could be sent out to her friends.
