The Compound Resolution

Albert and Conner are now in open conflict with the two Kindred in the Compound. A mortal stands just beside Cyrus. He is standing in wide – eyed wonder, staring at Cyrus. Anything you do will be observed. The man in the face mask stands blocking the sliding glass door, his back to the door. In order to go through the door, you must pass him. What do you do?

Roll initiative. We are now in Combat. You must post within 24 hours of the turn before your own or be considered to have Held your action.
Held = Dropped from initiative to return with missing actions
Delayed = Initiative lowers to whatever the player decides or when they remember to post within the same turn
Helen will only join this thread if she posts breaking into the Compound in her first post to the thread. That would be her action for that round. She then will roll initiative at the end of the current round.

Cyrus drops his gaze to Conner's hands and takes a step back to where he stands with open space around himself.
"He brought weapons." Cyrus raised his voice to reach his partner. His partner who was currently blocking the exit reacts immediately. The masked man reaches out and grapples with Albert, clasping Albert's shoulders tightly. Albert now finds himself unable to get away unless he exerts himself.

There’s a surge within Conner. Something seething and righteous and proud. Something monstrous. A smile cracks across his face. “And that’s not all he brought.” Conner draws his sword and advances on Cyrus as he roars out behind him. “HELEN! NOW!”

The Masked Man grabs Albert and Conner can’t help but wonder if he’s made the wrong call in approaching Cyrus. Albert is Kindred. He’ll handle himself.

Hoping that yell alerts Helen Kingsley to the fray.

Al struggled against the grapple and called on his vitae to compensate for his lack of fighting skills, a lack that would need to be adressed in the future. For the moment though he was quite busy with trying to break the hold the masked man had put him into.

Albert breaks free of the Masked man's grapple!
Cyrus appears to focus inward for a moment. Cyrus activates Resilence. Cyrus moves backwards from Conner, stating "What is the meaning of this violence?"
The Masked man's head turns as Conner shouts. He quits dealing with Albert and races towards Conner. The masked man athletically leaps forward towards Conner. The annoymous man leaps onto Conner's back in a wordless cry of rage.

She's not really that sure at first, but then, fuck it, '100 % sure' is for scientists. Situations like this, she tends to go with her gut, and her gut says 'see what's up with that stuff'. So she does.
She makes a few steps back, takes a run-up and slams her foot as close to where she thinks the lock mchanism is as she can. Even if a clean hit looks different...

Something, between the impact and the pain and the cry of shock from Cyrus, rushes to the forefront of Conner's consciousness. Something that hasn't been out in a very, very long time.

It seemed to Al that the masked man deemed him not very dangerous (which was true), but he had some tricks still up his sleeve. Even though he didn't expect it to be very effective against foes that much mightier than him. Nonetheless he fixed his gaze on the masked man, used his teeth to open a small vein for the necessary sacrifice and began with the incantation.
