Jack comes to the cemetery in the Urhan form only to become use to shapeshifting and takes a moment to seek out his alpha - and scolding himself because he's at the loci - where they were before. Quickly, he goes toward him.

Dave approaches the cemetery and heads for the locus hoping that they will in the same place.
Seeing the other two in Urhan form he wonders if there was a reson for being in that form he was not aware of so shifts to that form

Grip-of-Steel came walking and was in hishu form. As he came closer he noticed that some of his packmates where already there. They were in hishu form. Grip-of-Steel quickened his pace and walked to the group. He nodded to everyone and stood there silently waiting others to arrive.

Matthew shifts to Dalu, the halberd reappearing. "Steven's out marking the boundary of our territory, so everyone's here who's coming. If any of you need essence, you can draw from the locus before we cross. Or after, if you prefer."
"How much can I take I don't wont to take to much if the rest of you are needing some as well?"
Still in his Urhan form, Jack observed the proceeding, since he too wanted to know how to gather essence from the loci.

Matthew describes how to draw out a locus' essence to his new packmates. "Limit yourself to one essence, unless you need essence badly."
((The locus currently has five essence available. Matthew didn't actually describe it as discrete units, but in-character descriptions are unnecessarily confusing.))
Grip-of-Steel doesn't take any essence as he is not in dire need of it. He waits while others take some and prepares himself to hunt.
