As Coda followed the two of them to Char's place he fluttered the throttle on the Ducatti and even let it stall at one of the red lights. Coda looks over and grins, does the same hair flip as normal

Oh don't worry I could never hate you. Just hope you keep the same idea when your sitting in my dust.

Coda suggests a 3 'leg' race; to the county line, then the Grindhouse, and then back to Char's -- so that the winner can collect their 'spoils'.

{ST NOTE: Ok this is how this will be done: It will take 15 success to reach each location from the other, with a normal Dex+Drive roll.
To the county line - 15 suxx total, accumulated over multiple rolls.
To the Grindhouse - another 15
To Char's - the final set of 15

The SAFE SPEED is 100MPH. For every 10MPH over 100MPH, you reduce the required suxx needed for each 'leg' by 1.

Example: If Johann goes 150 MPH to the county line, he only needs 10 suxx to reach it. If he then drops to 120 to the Grindhouse, he needs 13 suxx. If he opens it all the way back to Chars at 170MPH, he'll need 8 for that final leg.

If you push your vehicle above SAFE SPEED (100 MPH), for every 10MPH over you will be at a -1 penalty, unless you have a Merit which mitigates this.

Each bike will be considered to have 170MPH 'top' speed, and a blanket +3 Equipment Bonus.

If a roll is FAILED while accumulating the suxx, roll another dex+drive to regain control. If that roll fails, you CRASH.

Once you reach a destination it will take 1 turn/roll to turn the car, unless you have a Merit.

Please state your speed, Merits, then dice.

Whoever finishes the 3 legs in the least number of rolls wins.

Example:

Char goes 150 for all three legs. She has Dex 3, Drive 3, and bike 3: 9 dice - 5 for going above Safe Speed. Her pool to roll to accumulate suxx is 4 dice.

It takes her 3 rolls for the 10 successes (modified for Speed) to reach the County Line.
She turns, and heads to the Grindhouse, taking 2 rolls to get her 10.
She turns, and heads back to her place, taking 4 rolls.
Her TOTAL is 3 + 1 (turn) + 2 + 1 (turn) + 4 = 11 'rounds'
To beat Char, a racer must complete the legs in 10 'rounds' or less.

~~Narration~~

The bikes take off in a roar of engines and flying hair.

Coda and Lucky expertly work the 'legs' of the race, although the feelings of respect and awe he had for the other racer initially throws him off.

Johann, unused to the speed at which Coda tears off at, follows suit -- almost wiping out more than once. He begins to fuel his efforts to catch up and win with Blood. Soon, even the red glow of Coda's tail lights fade.

Coda stops Lucky by Charunetrah, blonde hair reminding her of a lion's mane. The thrill of victory makes Coda wonder why he though Johann might have been some kind of hot shit.

Several minutes later, Johann pulls up, wild eyed and pale. Coda and Char can immediately tell something is wrong.

In the heat of the race, the young Gangrel has burned all of his Blood.

(( According to the rolls Ghash sent me, he used 12 Blood, and has a BP of 3
Frenzy check at -2 (Starving) ))

Coda shot his 'winning' smile to Char as he got up off his bike and stood next to her waiting for Johanne to catch up

Guess his bike is built for looks more then speed.....
