West moved through the bodies, carefully. Slowly. Always had to move slowly, like this. Losing focus, having to dodge someone with a drink, just wasn't an option.

He hadn't been able to sleep. Large, expressive eyes and blue velvet invaded the darkness, and rippled unbidden thoughts across the normal still waters of his mind. He eventually got up, and skimmed the phone book for what he wanted, dressed, and left the house in the darkness of late night.

Bending light around him, he entered unseen. Watching, taking in the sights and people. Most were dressed appropriately, but there was a blonde in the back that wasn't.

Someone's date that didn't care for this?

Opening his awareness, he started nudging the flows of time backwards. This wasn't an intrusion... it was a public place. He just hadn't been there when these things happened. Carefully, he made his way around taking in the sights and scenes of the past. Some of the past images showed the blonde, as he sifted through them, searching for what he was looking for.

Every now and then he stopped to enjoy an echo of the past, using the river of Time as his personal DVR. When he'd had enough, he left as he came, unseen, and let the tide of fatigue's sleep wash over him when he returned to the mansion.
