Alex finished vacuuming just as the doorbell rang. Rolling the vacuum into the closet as she opens the door, she smiles seeing her friends from work. They had decided on a girls night a while back and Alex had volunteered her place. One because she didn't want to see the condition of their places. Or, more likely, because she did not want to spend the entire night being jealous of their things. Two because she wanted someone else other than herself to be in her apartment. This would leave good memories, hopefully that would help pass the time.

The game was risk, something none of them had played before. How it had been chosen was lost to them. Though Ariadne's mind had an idea. There were cheers, jeers and lots of laughing before the night was over. Alex waved goodbye to her friends as they left as she closed the door. It had been a challenge but she had won. There was something to be said about being normal.. again. Alex/Ariadne sat down on her couch with a small container of ice cream and turned the tv on, wondering.

What is normal now
