Summary

After meeting at the Museum, the Mages have split up. Eclipse, Spade, and Tvival have begun searching the warehouse in hopes of finding, and stopping, the intruder.

Tvival descends to the 'ground' level of the warehouse. The concrete floors are nearly spotless, although debris from forklift treads and boxes can be found here and there. The shelves are securely bolted into the concrete, and look sturdy enough to frame a house with. Within a few seconds, she locates a box cutter, and a wide push-broom. The shelves tower over her, and she takes small comfort in being correct about being in the minotaur's maze.

Overhead, Spade begins to walk the length of the catwalk. As he progresses, the sound waves begin to become more clear.

For every 25M Spade walks, he can roll again with a cumulative +1 bonus. The warehouse is roughly 250M long. I also need some clarification on where Eclipse is, and whether or not Tvivel is pacing Spade from below.

Moving along the dark path, with the shelves looming abode her a part of Tvivels brain was buzy rehearsing not only half the scenes in the alien moves, but also scenes from back home. Times she knew she had been followed and war stories others told about people dying like trapped animals rather then awakened aware of the truth. Yet she had Eclipse behind her, and the councilor had seemed smart and stable, but competent people had a tendency to get murdered as well.

She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the broom, hesitated for a moment before putting her foot on the head and pulled with her weight behind her to see if it would do what brooms always do at inconvenient times. Disconnect at the socket.

Hpt! The was small wooden echo that bounced off the roof. Fuck that. For a moment she felt like an empowered amazon spear in hand. Its beets a pen anyway... Then she realized that she had fallen behind Spade a few extra paces. On soft sneakers she jogged after him a silently as possible, snatched up the cardboard cutter while she passed it (you never know what you will need a knife for).

Slowing down once she fallen in a few paces behind Spade overhead she cast a glance over her shoulder flipping out the blade a little and cast Eclipse a silent question, The expression 'You want it?' Clear on the redheaded mastigos face.

Eclipse follows Tvivel on the ground, stopping to wait as she went about creating a weapon, meanwhile watching cautiously for any sign of their enemy.

He gratefully accepts the small blade, holding the box cutter in one hand and his small iron wand in the other. He motions to her that he is ready to move.

Spade watches the ripples of sound from the cracking wood spread, and lets the two newly armed Mages below him catch up.

I'll wait for Khalvin a bit more before further ghosting...

Sorry guys. Life is getting hectic. West. Spade dropped RM for Influence sound to keep his movements silent outside the area of influence.

Spade doesn't wait long. Spade moves steadily down the walk way with his attention turned on was was ahead of him. Each stepan effort of his will to see this through. He heart pounding. If the intruder spotted him. there was no where for Spade to run.

after almost a eighty yards. Spade stops, pauses for a moment, Then releases his sound spell. Spade's nerves are all but broken as he fumbles to bring back his aweness of energy. But now that he is closer there is alot less Sound to sift through.

Spade drops his sight and begins to craft a sphere from a pure latice of mana.
The abyss lashes out to rest the spell, but Spade blocks it's strike with his will, taking a nasty burn on his shoulders.

He muffles a cry, and succeeds in making a fake ball about 2 feet in diameter colored white and adorned with black spades. He holds it for the other to see then tosses it where he last saw the rippels.

The ball flies a quarter of the way there before gravity pulls it down, and the bouncing echoes between the shelves echo loudly.

Spade stopped , and she saw the magic forming and boll flying, and heard it land a number of shelves away. What now? She had a broom handle and her most offensive magic could make a sleeper feel sick at most, on a good day. Satan fitta. Distraction, smoke and mirrors. That she might be able to do. But... First this. She stopped and dug into her hoodies pocket.

She tore loose a green plastic frog from her keys the yarn snapping. Its been with her since she visited a petting zoo when she was eight. The painted patterns had mostly been worn away, and it smooth to the touch. Tvivel spun around and face the other mastigos. She ripped a hair from her head and wrapped it around the frogs neck turned around. She glanced at his two hands holding the iron rod and boxcutter and then just took a step closer and stuffed it into his pocket.

Her gesture of sticking it into his pocket wasn't 'Gaurd my frog with you life, it is very dear to me.' or neither in the manner of a very strange pick up tactic. But done in a cynical way fitting a mage in tune with pandemonium. She just dumped a sympathetic connection in his pants. She pulled back her hand, did a gesture at her temple and mimed one word.

OPEN.

Indication that she wouldn't resit any mind magic he might pull of at her, at the moment. A rare sign if trust for a mastigos to another or someone just really crass about the things you need to dop to survive. If he was the mastigos councilor, the best thing she could do at the moment was help with coordinating their efforts. The whole thing took maybe 2 secs.

Her lips formed another word.

DISTRACTION.

And pointed along the corridor been following, past the threat and that she would then turn. She nodded at him and turned into a careful jog.
