Planning The Assault

[Ishani]

The room was large but simple as Ishani set the last chair into place. There were no garnishments on the walls nor was there anything on the floor to cover the bare stone. There were lights hanging from the ceiling made to resemble the candlabras of old but they were electric. The room was windowless and had a slight moldy, musty smell to it from not being used in quite some time.

Ishani had seen to it a large round table had been placed in the center of the room. She'd also brought in chairs so that everyone would have a seat. She hoped this would not lead to bickering about leadership or rank, but one never knew what would cause some to feel insulted. She didn't really care either. This meeting wasn't about rank or blowing smoke up others skirts, it was about assaulting Horizon and getting one of their own back. Anyone who didn't like it could use the door.

She'd asked Asa if Oliviette could stay with her to lead the representatives down to the room. He'd agreed and so Ishani had instructed the other woman to bring those who came for the meeting through the winding hallways and stairways down to the room. She would then indicate they take a seat and wait until all were accounted for. Then she would close and lock the heavy oaken door and the meeting would begin.

With a small amount of impatience, Ishani waits in the dim room for kindred to arrive.

Wilhelm made it a point to arrive early, this time not just because it was his tendency. But also because Harpy Naetesh had picked him to lead this assault, thus was it especially important to ensure that tonight he made a good impression in this meeting of many of the city's most important Kindred. And an early arrival was one way to do so.

So he did, and followed Oliviette through the complex path to the meeting room Ishani had selected. He took a moment upon entering the room to take in the unusual decor, not at all bothered by the dim lighting. Then inclined his head slightly in respect to the other Mekhet in the room with him. "Greetings, Harpy Naetesh."

Konstantin also makes it a point to arrive early. Guided to the meeting place by Olivette, he looks around the place for a moment, then enters, nodding to both Ishani and Wilhelm. "Harpy Naetesh, Priscus Von Schusten," he says, acknowledging each. He is dressed in the sturdy jacket given him by the Prince, black jeans, a black sweatshirt, sturdy boots and fingerless black leather gloves. The feral intensity is back in his eyes, as at the previous, smaller meeting. Tonight, plans would be made to engage the enemy. Months of frustration would hopefully come to an end. He was focused on the task ahead, struggling to remember any observation that might give the kindred the edge against a well-defended and deadly enemy.

Some time afterward, Circe arrives, driven to the appointment by the Circle's ghoul. She breaks the Obfuscate that had hidden her robes just before arriving at the meeting room, her smart gray skirt and blouse suddenly covered by the black and red hooded robe.

"Harpy Naetesh," she says, nodding, her features hidden beneath the shadows cast by the rooms lighting and her hood. "Priscus Von Schusten, Priscus and Hound Malevich. I hope this evening finds you all well?"

Konstantin says nothing in response to Circe's greeting, merely nodding. Few things frightened him. A senior witch of the Circle of the Crone was one of those things. He hoped the Circle's sorceries would bring much dread down upon their enemy, but that hope does not dispel the unease he feels at the Hierophant's presence.

Arnold Culler arrives to the meeting dressed in his somewhat usual street attire consisting of brown pants, a white shirt covered by a brown vest under a large overcoat, and a matching fedora.

He greets the Kindred who were present already, nodding to Wilhelm and Circe, smiling at Konstantin, and even bowing a little to Ishani. "Good evening to you all."

He finds a seat and looks to the door, awaiting the arrival of the other attendees. All that was in Arnold's mind this night was the business of Horizon and the attack at hand. He eagerly awaited the beginning of the meeting.

Konstantin smiles as Arnold enters. This would be glorious, he and Arnold and Jayant fighting together against his enemies.

The fact it hadn't gone so wonderfully last time that had happened seems to have escaped his awareness at the moment.

"And to you," Konstantin says, returning Arnold's greeting with a smile. "Is good to see you here."

Madison

Madison enters the room after asking Oliviette to lead her through the strange building. She smiles to those in attendance and takes a seat. She has a pretty good idea of what this is all about but having only two members of her covenent to offer aid makes her feel woefully inadequate here with some of the city's best fighters.

"Good evening, respected elders and members of the city. I hope I will be of assistance tonight."

Ishani

Ishani gives the assmebled members a nod of respect and gestures for them to have a seat. There were a few left to arrive and she hoped they would not take long. She had told the Oracle she would represent the Dracul tonight since Wilhelm would be there as well to represent the Mekhet, thus saving the timid woman from having to be in the company of such fierceness. The Oracle had appreciated it.

She wonders idily if Twsit would come too, to represent the Invictus or if Arnold was here to represent both his clan and his covenent.

Konstantin nods to Madison. Although he'd seen her at court, they'd not had a chance to interact since the blood hunt.

"It is good to see you too, my friend." Arnold replies to Konstantin "Was the message I sent delivered to you?"

[Konstantin Malevich]

"Yes, it was," Konstantin replies to Arnold. "It has been too long since we talked. I take blame, getting busy with business, but that is no excuse. Perhaps after this meeting we can talk?"

"Yes, that sounds good. That is if we are not too busy dealing with our enemies." Arnold replies, smiling
