“If you would like to join me.” Jennifer moved away from where she had been standing. She took a seat at a nearby table in a lady – like way. She was composed and calm as she carefully arranged her gown to fall just so.
A few inquiries for further conversation had been made. Jennifer was curious if others would like to continue to speak with her.

Turning her eyes up into the roof for a moment at the question by the Seneschal.
"At the moment they are mostly studies, and finding what the city has to offer. There is ever so much to learn, so much to read, the more you find the more you see just how little you used to know and how much more there is to learn in a never ending cycle, constantly keeping things interesting." Turning her eyes downward to the side for a moment, damn, quickly looking back up with a slight lowering of her head as she speaks in a soft appreciative tone. "I am deeply appreciative of your words of correction, thank you kindly venerable Seneschal Hazelton."

Following after the Seneschal toward the table, she had been asked and accepted to converse of course she would not go back on an accepted invite. Walking up to a seat she could take for herself, and placing herself behind it as she once more gives the head bow, they had been separated for a bit and a new area with new talks did ring through to what she had been informed to take note of.
"I could not help but overhear that you are a scholar, might I inquire as to what fields keeps your interest for the moment?" Keeping her back straight, standing near perfectly still behind the seat of her choosing.

Dark brown eyes look over Ms. Silvers for a moment. She was very beautiful. There was a certain quality that pulled Jennifer's attention to her.

The Beast was gnawing inside Jennifer's ribcage as she evaluated Ms. Silvers. The Beast inside her breast quivered in fear at the arrival of the greatest Beast it had ever felt. A moment to wrestle the Beast into it's cage. Jennifer stood from her seat and performed a perfect curtsy to the Alder Prince. The one strong enough to offer this Elysium for one's Man to be soothed. Jennifer held the position for a moment to ensure that her respect was known.

Jennifer took her seat.
"Studies are vital. Knowing the world that continues to move on long past the time that we walked in the sun is important.

At the moment, I am studying the different types of Bloodlines. I am studying accounts on Blood Gifts. I am asking old allies about their experience with ghoul families.
There are some other things.
Correction is a part of Dansing. Taking the correction as it was meant is a form of grace in itself."

Relieved to see that her action of curtsying had indeed been the correct one to take as she felt the far superior beasts presence, that being one mistake she would not have wanted to make.

Watching as the Seneschal took her seat once more, still remaining standing behind the seat herself as interested eyes hang upon each word of the Lady before her.
"Those are some wise words, the ingenuity of man is truly fascinating, both the old, and the new alike. Each day new discoveries are made, new theories proven and disproven, information of eras long gone brought to light. No matter what might tickle ones fancy so is there ever more to learn with each passing day, as each little piece keeps bringing the world forward. Each global change occurring faster and faster, making it ever easier to be left behind."

Lightly cocking her head, unable to truly hide the sparkle within her at the topic she was far to unfamiliar with.
"Now there is a realm where I cannot offer much I am afraid, but it is a fascinating topic. Would you mind sharing what it is about this particular topic that draws you in and holds your attention?" Slightly lowering her head in a sign of thankful respect. "You´re to kind, this city has truly been fortunate to have you take up residency here."

“I would like to reflect on the poem ‘there is nothing new under the sun.'“
Jennifer stated.
“Yet there are innovations occurring, as you say. There are a few reasons.”
She thought for a moment. “The reason why Kindred are able to accomplish such varied feats can in some situations, be attributed to the Gifts. Kindred wisely do not share many of their secrets.”

It was a thought that Ms. Grey and the Reeve would understand from the occult conversation.
“I imagine that you have likely thought about the question of how we are able to accomplish all that we do. There are instances where our knowledge has guided and protected our community. You are kind, Ms. Silvers.”
A slight nod to her to share her appreciation for the praise.
Jennifer tilted her head slightly to the side as she observed Priscus Carmen speak to Ms. Dawson. Jennifer could not call it a correction. It was permitted under the rules to approach the Prince and politely wait. Jennifer shook her head slightly at the display. Ms. Dawson had spoken with such grace. Jennifer had intentions to reflect her appreciation when she spoke to the Blood of the Rose.

“I did not mean to look away from our conversation, Ms. Silvers. Yet someone is having some rather interesting ideas over there.”
Jennifer turned her attention to the Blood of the Rose who had joined her.
“I am curious what studies you pursue.”

Allowing a light smile to form.
"Innovations and insights are eternal, changing our understanding of what has always been. Mayhaps there is nothing truly new under the sun, but the understanding of what was always there lacking." Appreciating the silence, that it was a question deemed important enough to first think about before being answered. "That is an interesting viewpoint, was that what initially sparked your interest in the topic or one that you found within your studies that sparked you to move onward?" Softly, softly nodding. "The life of a Kine is short, they need to spread what they know for the next generation to take over, we do not, we can utilize knowledge in manners they never can, and see more than they can fathom."

Raising her eyes upward to the roof with a slow roll back toward the Seneschal as she reflects on the question.
"I have indeed, along with the question of what is the limits, the workings within each one of us a truly fascinating enigma." Lightly lowering her head once more in respect before carrying on. "Whilst the topic does fascinate me so do I have many a wonders, but little to offer for a sparkling conversation unfortunately enough. Should an opportunity arise to change that so shall it be a delight to take it, and be able to discuss what I might learn on a future night." Lightly moving her body back as if to start a bow in an appreciative gesture of the nod. "Provided it would be in your interest of course."

Then like the Seneschal her eyes were drawn to the side, that fiercely strong aura, that presence who demanded to be seen, as if the air was filled with a viscous resistance akin to honey to be able to move or speak through. Only managing to keep her composure limited to looking thanks to her own strength in the matter. Why is Verity stepping in? Is that woman our cousin after all or is this part of her duties?

Quickly turning her eyes back to the Seneschal before her.
"How could one not look at such events transpiring?" Not certain how common such things were but to her they were definitely something worthy, near demanding to be seen. "At the current so have I been rather interested in the field of aromachology in contrast to sub fields of biology in an assertation toward differential in the Kine and ourselves." How far she would pursue them was uncertain but it had been her interest as of late.

Jennifer could agree with innovations and insights being eternal, and she nods slightly.
“I am a scholar at heart.” Jennifer decided to be simple and honest. “I agree with what you are saying about knowledge.
It is one of the reasons that I was interested in the First Estate when I was released from Sire’s Hospitality. Knowledge – to me – is a worthy pursuit of our gift of Time. The First Estate asks for newcomers to prove humble and willing to learn. Once one does, one tends to try to impress a mentor. Knowledge is passed from Mentor to newcomer. I was sponsored by the coterie Triumvir some years ago. I came to Sacramento a little rough around the edges, and willing to learn. The members of Triumvir taught me meaningful knowledge.

As a Notary for the First Estate, I must not lie. This role means that I may be called to act as a reporter for important events. Were I known to bend the truth, it would harm my Covenant. In this vein, I research various topics to give accurate and concise statements as they are needed. The Blood Gifts are one of these various topics that I must be knowledgeable about. I do not presume that I will learn everything under the moon on this topic. Some things are well guarded. Yet I do hope to learn enough to be of help when it is needed.

Is that the study of scent?” Jennifer inquired. “I have not had much experience with that. I must admit, scent does not often enter my nights.”

The Alder Prince moved from her separate area. Jennifer’s head turned as this occurred, for she was always aware of the Prince. Jennifer was the Seneschal.
Jennifer’s entire focus was on the Alder Prince. The Prince demonstrated her wisdom in learning the problem that was presented before the Court, Jennifer thought. For a moment, Jennifer watched the interaction.
“Excuse me, Ms. Silvers.” Jennifer turned her whole body towards the Daeva to give her whole attention. It would not do to insult the breathtaking Daeva.
“I have enjoyed speaking with you. Yet I must attend to matters. Perhaps you could write to me and we could continue a conversation.”

With a nod worthy of an acknowledged member of the Domain, Jennifer rose and gracefully began a slow walk towards the Prince, Priscus Carmen and Ms. Dawson. She would not approach the Prince and therefore, Priscus Carmen directly. Jennifer was bound by the same Laws. Jennifer stood with lady - like composure a respectful distance from the Prince.

"That is a truly noble pursuit, few things are as treasurable as knowledge at the end of the night. The eras may change, the Kine may change, the way we perceive the world along with its state as shifting as sand in the hourglass. Making a brief paus with a single glance to her own purse. The fool values gold, and what they are told is of value, the wise sees that nothing holds a higher value than knowledge, nothing is as unshifting as the value of knowledge. It is one of few things whom has truly stood the test of time to only ever increase in value, and importance." Their views of fields different, but at least she could see an ember that she could connect to in that sense no matter how much she had to struggle to keep her interest in any one field or path.

Quenching the faintest of chuckles.
"You have taken a heavy mantle upon yourself, having to serve a truly hard position which for many would enact a heavier toll than what most could even begin to fathom." Not knowing how else to show her appreciation of the words than to keep her head lightly lowered, her body ever so slightly bent forward with an appreciative look upon her. "You honor me with such a deep sharing of your tale, and meaning of your title alike. It is refreshing to see one who grasps that no one can ever learn everything about a topic, who knows that the pursuit of knowledge is an endless task."

Eyes turning ever so slightly more toward her, not presumptuous enough to seek eye contact but more generally upon the woman at least.
"Indeed it is, however it is only part of my studies, one of many fields blended together to create a whole." Thoroughly impressed that the field was recognized, it was seldom one people would have heard of. Still it seemed like her grander point was not seen, or mayhaps just not of interest in comparison to what was happening so close to them.

Glad that her lack of focus was perhaps once more overseen as she to could not help but look to what was transpiring so close to them, each movement, each word something to burn to memory for coming nights. Swiftly turning back at the words, the events transpiring hard to not watch but to not show her utmost respect here was not something she would allow of herself. Lowering her head as the position of the Seneschal denoted with a light amazement at the level of attention she was given.
"Our conversation brief as it were has been captivating, the insights you have shared precious, a letter with your name upon it shall soon find its way to you."

Keeping her head lowered down into the corresponding level.
"Venerable Seneschal Hazelton, Baroness Notary of the First Estate." Keeping her head down until the Seneschal had walked off, then and only then raising it back up to follow suit with a walk back to the main crowd, eyes locked upon the event transpiring in the room.
