Eternal Court

The Nox Populi is an upscale experience that will take Sacramento nightlife to a whole new level.

In the heart of downtown Sacramento there is a place of intrigue, excitement and entertainment. The modern flare of this venue is host to exclusive parties. The seduction of this establishment may take you away as you drink, dance and socialize. There are private services available upon request. The best DJ’s in town are in line to play a wide variety of music. Some of you may dine…as long as you have your VIP pass.

However the Kindred arrive they are discreetly met and led to the back of the club. The space downstairs is decorated in dark, rich woods and expensive furniture. There's a coat room that will also hold one's 'unmentionables'; namely, weapons, at the foot of the stairs. There are also private areas, dark, and furnished with soft couches, as well as meeting rooms with conference tables and chairs, and an area with several televisions. The Court area is decorated with long black and brown silken drapes cascading from floor to ceiling. Draped in elegant bunches and gathered into valances across door frames and between supporting pillars; the lighting is intentionally low, but without the pulse of the music from above, the place has the feel of a sepulchre.

The common area circles the Court proper, and it becomes apparent that this is not decorated for a single evening. Small symbols note areas for Kindred only that branch off of the Commons, which will be necessary once those Kine privileged enough to see behind the Masquerade filter in: ghouls, herd members, or even devotees. The furniture setting is familiar now: a set of elegant chairs, all dark wood and red leather, arranged in a circle. The baroque lighting leaves the corners of the Elysium commons in deep shadow.

Another evening; another Danse. For some it will their first, for some it shall be their last. After all, this is the Prince's Elysium, and subject to the Laws of the Domain.

Formal Court has now begun...

You now have 1 Week to enter Court before the Doors Close.

Formal Court a specific event. Announced to the Domain, you are expected to attend or you will find your Acknowledgement revoked. After 1 Week, the doors to Court close (no new entries into the thread). Once you have left Court, you are not permitted to return. Court is never truly empty: this can include 'faceless masses' of Kindred beneath notice, ghouls, herd members, devotees, or even officials in their offices.

Joshua would make his way to court in his nicest clothes, vampire society was usually pretty formal so he wanted to make a good impression by getting there as early as possible. "Let's do this"

Joshua would enter the upscale club, leaving everything considered weapon like at the door, he read the rules, he was gonna abide by the laws of the domain to the best of his ability.

He would activate his aspect of predator, just to keep himself calm in these situations, didn't want to frenzy. He would look around the place and see other kindred around but nobody really worth mentioning, so he would just keep an eye out and keep to himself.

"Guess I will look around till I see somebody I know, or if the prince comes in, I will just keep within eye contact" To say he was a bit nervous would be an understatement, this was Joshua's new home he doesn't want it to be ruined.

Time for a formal court....

Raúl made his way to court as soon as he can. It pays to be early as you can be or so he's been told. He stops for a quick bite to eat, trying to sate his Beast before the numerous encounters with other predators tonight. He dresses and makes the drive across town to Nox Populi, parking and making his way inside. He's dressed in a dark suit, a crimson vest and maroon tie a nice contrast to his cream shirt and black coat and pants.

He stops at the coat check only out of habit as he doesn't have anything that needs to be left. He braces himself and his Beast as he heads down the stairs and into the Court proper, looking around and spotting his fellow Savage as Beast glares at Beast. He gives a small nod to the man as he starts to look around the area, straightening his coat as he walks.

Jennifer walked with confidence to the coat check, Liam a step behind her. She checked in a long, slim item in a blue linen sheath and he checked in a locked small box. The Nosferatu strode down to Elysium proper with lady – like grace. She wore a couture dress with an illusion neckline tailored for her 5’7” height, in a black and gold. She wore a shimmering gold silk dupioni scarf, draped and pinned to hide her neck and one of her shoulders. Jennifer wore two rings, a chocolate diamond and diamond ring and a pearl ring.
She looked around the Elysium proper. No other Prisci as yet.
She gives a nod to Mr. Dominguez and Mr. Gonzalez, slight as fitting to status in the Domain.

Two kindred enter Elysium. Rufus is BP 2. Jackson is BP 3. These two were white men. The skinny sort, who lifted weights but in life had eaten nothing but cheap food. The clothes were brand new. An off the rack suit in grey with green dress suit for the first man to walk in. Rufus wears a black suit and dark green dress shirt. Jackson wears a charcoal grey suit, Kelly green dress shirt and pocket square.
Both men scan the room for a moment. The two Kindred bow to their Priscus. Upon seeing Joshua and Raul, both men give the two nods of acknowledgement.
Standing in the same room with these two, you get a sense of their Curse. Jackson has an aura of dread about him. Rufus appears to have a sick, cloying smell about him, the smell of decay.

The coterie of Clarke, Jake and Sanchez enter together as a knot. Ms. Clark wore a rose-colored calf length gown with 3/4 length sleeves, her blonde hair swept into a high bun. The style is far from the usual elaborate hairstyle. Her fair light skin was carefully made up with peach lipstick and light brown eyeshadow, bringing out her blue eyes. Her Beast is cloaked.
Mr. Eddison Jake was a skinny, unobtrusive man who held his Beast Cloaked. He is African American, around 5'11'' with a closely cropped hairstyle. He has an unobtrusive air. You likely would look right past him, unless searching for him, specifically. He wears a grey off the rack suit with a violet pocket square. The tie is grey, not flashy. His Beast is cloaked.
Mariposa is Mexican American and wears a midnight blue a line dress over her plus size figure. One might notice that the bracelet that she normally wears is absent. Ms. Sánchez accented her dark skin with shimmering gold eyeshadow that looked fetching. Her beast is Cloaked.
The three Kindred look about the room, likely checking for their elders.
An unassuming Latino woman known as Simone Perez enters Court. Her Beast rolls out to greet the others BP 3. Her stocky body is well-muscled, and scarred. Her short, straight black hair is brushed back and pinned with a small clip into some more passable style for Formal Court. She presented herself in a modest blue calf length dress with 3/4 sleeves. A scar at her collarbone peeked out, three lines that resembled claw marks. The coterie and Madame Perez give deep nods to Seneschal Hazelton and small nods to Joshua and Raul.

Next to enter Court is Vincenzo. Vincenzo’s face is pockmarked from life. His head is buzzed to nearly bald; his face is all lines. His hands are rough and calloused, although carefully manicured for the evening. He wears a brown suit with a purple pocket corner, silver pin on his lapel in the insignia of the Lancea Sanctum. He gives an appropriate bow to Seneschal Hazelton. Joshua and Raul receive small acknowledgements.
The two give appropriate nods to fellow acknowledged Joshua and Raul.
Mr. Hoyle enters Court. Mr. Anthony Hoyle is a gentleman who is white - haired, respectable looking. His cufflink jewels suggest his clan is Ventrue. He is BP 4 Mr. Hoyle bows to Seneschal Hazelton. He then offers nods to Joshua and Raul as appropriate for their stations.
Mr. Royce Waldorf, an older gentleman with white hair, styled in a well-groomed fashion from the 40's, wore an expensive looking suit from the 20’s with amethyst jewels in his cufflinks and tie bar. He is BP 4
He moves slower around the room. Once Mr. Hoyle has made his acknowledgements, Mr. Waldorf pays his respects to those present with appropriate nods and a bow to the Seneschal.

“I thought I heard that there could be someone from the Ordul Dracul recently arrived.” Mr. Waldorf spoke to Mr. Hoyle. “Have you heard anything?”

Joshua would look at the Kindred that would enter and be as respectful as possible, he remembers previous formal courts like this in other domains and how nervous he was in each, the only thing he was curious about was the prince since he still never formally met her.

Curious that nobody was talking about the recent news of the hospital killings, it was in this domain, don't know if it was other Kindred or not.


Joshua would give a nod to Raul as he entered the room, he remembered he needs to contact him when all this was over to discuss his opinion on his covenant, but he had to settle in first and foremost.


He would give a deep nod to the Seneschel as she entered the room she looked positively lady like as she always did. Her hissing reminded him of some aswang in his country, but he didn't think to hard on it was probably a nosferatu thing.


Joshua would nod at each and every member that would come through, he would see the member with the Lancea Sanctum insignia and tried to avoid him most of the night but was still gonna be polite and give him a nod. "Vincenzo huh"


He would start to overhear what the other two were talking about and would stay quiet since every place he has been Ordo have been secretive.

Joshua would mostly keep to himself while still being in view in case someone needed to talk to him, these formal courts usually were very political in his experience in other domains,and he had absolutely no idea about current affairs except the hospital incident. So he was doing his best to be polite.

Al entered the building in his usual ensemble of a three piece suit (taupe grey tonight), white dress shirt, tie (tonight a purple one) and very clean and shiny black Oxfords. The finishing touches being the silver amulet with the image of his Goddess and the lapel pin further telling his covenant. On the threshold to the main room he stopped as the familiar urge to turn around and run tore at his mind before he managed to calm down suffienciently to enter the room and be able to talk to the other walking beasts like a civilised being.

Walking through the room he payed his respects to those present with appropriate bows and nods before taking a seat.

Once again, it was a Formal Court. So once again, she reached out to her personal shopper to find her a dress. Shopping was one thing she hated, it was boring and she was just too damn busy to waste her time. So she simply hired someone to take care of that for her.

A fitted black dress with lace sides was selected, it had some ruffling detail, which she was told was flattering. The dress was backless, which would put her back tattoos on display, which was fine. Hair done up in a messy low bun, a touch of red on her lips and she was good to go.

The office door opened, Gabriel stepping out before holding the door open for the Savage to step out of. Long legs carried her to her usual place, where dark eyes observed those who were present. Her Beast snarled at the sheer weakness before her, whispering in her ear to redecorate with the flesh of them. But not tonight. Well, probably not, the night was young.

Gabriel steps back into the office, closing the door behind him.

Cain, in all his one hundred twenty-five pounds of supernatural muscle stepped beside her, then in front of her. His eyes were dark with a murderous hate, seeming eager to hear a commend from his Master. While he had the appearance of a Rottweiler, this was in no way a standard dog. This was a Hellhound, and the Savage was his Master.

A nod of respect was given to Jennifer Hazelton for her station as Seneschal, Priscus and Lady within the First Estate. The others get slight nods. For now, she was content where she was, not close enough to engage in any conversation as of yet. The Italian had to be in the mood to talk.

Mandatory fun time !

And maybe another instance to decide to turn up more often now with the whole office thing and all that. So Helen has again picked up the blue Elysium dress and has made her way to Nox. She passes the wardrobe without checking in anything- as usual - and takes her moment to collect herself at the door - also as usual - before entering.

She takes a short overview of who's already there and - more importantly - who's still missing, most importantly Conner Wells and the new Iudex. As she encounters the people, she gives out the appropriate tokens of respect according to their station. A curtsy for the Prince, a nod to Jennifer, ligther nods of aacknowledgement for the others. Looking around some more, she finally finds herself close to one of the new people, namely the one she hasn't had that much to do with so far.

"Evening Mr Gonzales. How've you been since last time ?"

The Lord made his entrance after three short months. He, of course, dressed to the nines with his ensemble of silk vest of his clan colors under a black tuxedo. His shoes shone as if new, though those with an eye for detail would know these are the same formal shoes he's often seen in- just impeccably maintained. His tie was tucked under his vest, but an amethyst stud pin secured its position at the center. He had a purple pocket square tucked into his jacket pocket and a Rolex around his wrist.

He descended down the stairs to Court proper and by the coat check. Upon entering his beast made sure to give attention to the Prince. No matter the sense of the man, the beast inside hungered for more. Still- Jacque's grip was firm on its leash and he bowed deeply in a show of respect and waited until he was sure he was seen. "Your grace." He then gave a slightly shallower bow to the Seneschal- his successor in the role. "Seneschal." Steel eyes followed through the room. New faces. New beasts. If his own beast would not pause at the Prince's, it sure as hell wouldn't for anything else. Still, the Lord maintained control through the incessant plea to be let loose. He gave his final and shallowest bow to the Reeve, Helen Kingsley .

With proper respects given, he began to circulate in the room. He may not be Senschal this night, but he still carried the respect of the Domain from his time in the role and for those within the Invictus- his station.
