When Albert brings up not having to deal with parents, that gets a bark of laughter from Circe, "Ha! Certainly a pro right there!"


"Eh," she shrugs as Alessandra brings up the language, "Depends on how stupid business associates are. I HAVE punched somebody out fer thinking Italian and Spanish were the same thing," she sips her coffee, "Though not fer the language confusion. Other justified reasons."


"Metallica is a standby fer me on CD, 80s or 90s mostly. But I recently came across the heavy metal version of Weird Al. They call themselves," she smiles widely, "Gloryhammer. And are ridiculous, oh ho ho ho! I'd even say they're a hoot."


"Viva la France that ain't Robspierre then?" Circe recalled that was the total dick who ran the guillotine revolution or something. As for the, probably good, doctor's inquiry of her IT work? "Still calling ya Doc Baker," she smiles as she turns to him, "It'd have been cool if ya had that name and were in culinary arts bee tee dubs. Myself? I dabble in many pies fer many monies. Coded fer a handful of generic apps, collab on flip ta smart phone emulator," which was true though some of those generic apps were spyware. And anti-spyware for criminals not wanting to be tracked, "Quality is good, but quantity of pay is great. Also do some white hat work, even fer just friends ta help 'em not get screwed," there is no longer any coffee for her to sip so she puts down the mug, "Done maintenance fer other friends too. Though that is more hardware than software."


She runs her finger around the rim of the mug, "Coding is versatile, but sometimes it is good ta work with yer hands when making something."

[Adeline Martin]

Adeline was trying to decide how Alessandra Sofia and Mary knew each other. Mary was an IT guru. Which could mean that her Grace's ventures might have needed some IT help. It would make sense. Technology has certainly gotten extremely complicated over the years. Gone were the days of computers as big as a room, eh? Long gone.

Dr. Baker's literature background wasn't surprising, though she wondered if he spoke french, so she asked him.Tu parles français aussi? For Adeline's part her intonation was perfections, as was the accent. She was clearly fluent.Ce serait amusant d'avoir quelqu'un avec qui parler français!

When Mary confesses to love 80's and 90's, Adeline fake clutched her heart and then opened her hands towards Mary. "OOOOOOO Awesome! I have every record from the 70's, 80's and 90's worth having. Two copies actually! One unopened for my archives, and another to enjoy. I had to install special shelves at home just to have enough space!" She forced some animation into her gestures and for her voice to undulate correctly.

She followed Alessandra's gaze to the giant ginger that ambled in. Adeline blinked a few times to show surprise. Isn't that what humans did when they see some big ass motherfucker?! She certaintly hoped so! She was pretty sure anyone would find him physically imposing. Though not fearful perse. She didn't fear Kine, no matter how big the package they came in was...

[Jasper]

Jasper takes the lifted glass of beer for what it is, an invitation. He steps forward with a smile on his face and an absent-minded brush of his fingers over the pocket puppy's ears. He looks towards Circe and opens his mouth to speak but then realizes that he doesn't know if she goes by anything else out here, so his words go a bit more generic. "Hey... Been a bit. Nice to see you about," he says before looking around at the others gathered in this small circle. His gaze lingers for a moment on the tattooed beauty who had welcomed him over but he does pay each of them a nod in greeting. "Evening, folks. Ah'm Jasper," he says, before taking another sip of his coffee.
