The Darling Aviary

[Seraphina]

Darling Aviary is one of Sacramento’s newest hot spots for those looking for a fun and interesting evening. Perched on top of a building downtown, The Nest as it’s called, boosts it’s patrons views of not only the downtown, but a few landmarks as well. The inside has a dark, gothic avian theme complete with a twenty-foot live-edge wooden bar top and wall-mounted tree breaches, making it appear that the landscape is invading the bar.

The bottom floor hosts the multicolored glass door and another bar. The first floor also has a live DJ with a life sized and rainbow hued birdcage, as well as place for the go-go dancers. If you’re lucky, it can even pose a social media photo op to share with all your friends!

While the thought of cages sent shivers down the Nix’s spine, she was determined to face her fears. Well, past if she was being honest. As such, she had let Rhodes know where she was going, in case he wanted to get out for a drink. And in case she totally freaked out and needed him. She had also sent a message to Sonnie Wu , Circe and Rlyeh cause everyone needs a chance to get out and have a drink! Vincent Black had already been told, so she hoped he’d decided to step out.

The Treasured is currently across from the bar, at one of the little tables. It have her a great view of who was arriving, and would help her friends find her. A drink sat in front of her and she was casually sipping it and enjoying the attention. Her dresses a little silky slip, showing plenty of her long legs and toned arms. A sultry smirk sat on her lips as she took a sip, though there was still that unease in her stomach when she spotted one of the various cages used for decoration.

Sonnie came in, wondering what birds had to say about this place. Did they like it? Did they want to come roost here? Did they want to poop on the patrons?

That last one made her giggle as she scanned the bar for Seraphina. It didn't take more than a second. The Fairest stood out like the sun in a clear sky, bright and shining and warm and demanding attention even if she didn't try.

With a smile, the Beast hopped over to the little table. On a lark, Sonnie lowered her voice in an attempt to sound like a man. "Well, what's a hottie like you doing in a place like this? Your old man stand you up? It's okay, baby! How's about I buy you a drink and we see where the evening leads?" She threw in a fake leer and an eyebrow wiggle with the rest of her comedy act.

For her part, the Steepscrambler was wearing a grey paneled sleeveless dress and had strengthened her Mask for the night.

Invited to a club, meant dressing up and R'lyeh....didn't have much in the way of nice clothes any more. Except, well. She hoped Circe-Queen wouldn't get upset-mad at her for wearing her Summer-welcome-suit at a not Freehold-Court function.

She felt better slipping through the Bird-paradise than if she was wearing her cupcake crop, or some of the few other clothes she'd gotten in her more then a year here-holy-fuck!

Even with glamour Hardening Masks, it's easy to find the Ladies Spring. People are staring-ogling-panting. Deftly moving around-through the growing crowd, R'lyeh joins Sera-Queen and Sonnie-Claviger

"Hi!" she greats with a wave, when she's free of the mundanes.

[Seraphina]

While Sera’s face lights up, happy to see her best friend could make it out, she was a bit surprised by the voice. But decides to play along, cause why not. Giggling, “It’s starting to look like he might have.” A slight pout added, “My agreeing to a drink depends on what drink is being offered.” a wink added before she laughs. Loving that Sonnie could always make her laugh and turn an evening into a fun one.

“Now that dress is amazing on you! And it looks really comfortable!” her dress was comfortable, but in a different way. “How you been? Seems like ages since we went out!” it did feel like ages.

Now, it would never be Rlyehs looks that gave her away, or her presence. But there was something new to her. Her Mantle, and the confidence that seemed to come with it!

A happy wave and smile, “Hey!” glad to see she joined them. “Love that suit on you!” gushed the Nix, and the Summer wore it well. “How you doing?”

"Ladies choice, of course!" Sonnie chuckled as she sat down at the tiny table. She looked at it a moment, curious, "Why are the tables so small?"

She blushed slightly, always happy when someone on Sera's fashion level compliments her outfits. The Beast fidgeted in her seat a little. "Thanks! Yours looks comfy, too!"

"You think they serve chicken here? Is that on theme?" she wondered aloud as she noticed the arrival of the Elemental. "Yo! Riley! Sup, girl?"

[Rlyeh]

R'lyehRiley feels herself smile, not because she thinks she should but because she is. She feels good. Not even strange-weird. But good. That was good-great-yes.

"I am good-great! Thanks for inviting me." enthusiastic, a strange thing to see on the Drowned Fox, who's peachy-pink fingers flatten her vest, and - "Mary - " that was Circe-Queens mundane name right? " - got it for me, for joining her club." She does a little pose, showing off the suit, "Tailored too,"

"I dunno if they have food-food. Even themed food. It's tiny-table-good-for-drinks." she nibbles on her lip, "Maybe just dinks-and-finger-food."

[Vincent Black]

Vincent walked into the Darling Avery looking like he didn't belong, "Because I really don't belong in places like this." he thought. The only reason he was here because his new friend had invited him and felt it would be a good place to meet some others like them that lived in the area. He walked up to the bar and ordered a rum and cherry coke. While waiting for his drink he looked around for a familiar face. His gaze fell upon the beautiful Seraphina closely followed by landing on two other who she seemed to be having conversation with.

After receiving his drink he walked over to where Seraphina was at. "Good evening ladies, hi Sera hope I am not interrupting anything? Just thought I would join the only other person I know in this town." He then said to the two others with bated breath, "My name is Vincent, I am a new tenant of Sera here, she is sort of my landlady."

[Seraphina]

Eyes widen, “You know the way to a lady’s heart!” looking at the table, there was a shrug, “Probably just tables for drinks. I only claimed it so I could be able to see who was coming in and all that. We could move to patio; I hear the views are amazing! Plus, the tables are bigger.” So if Sonnie wanted a bigger table, that would be the way to go.

“I haven’t looked at the food menu, but I’ve seen a few dishes and they all looked amazing. So pick something and it’ll be my treat!” having something to eat with her drink would probably be a good thing.

Seeing the Summer smile was good.

“Glad you’re doing great, and any time!” the enthusiasm was contagious, the Treasured feeling it as well. Then a small clap at the pose, “Well she has an amazing tailor!” it was a good fit for the fox. Though Sera knew she was superior Tailor.

A nod, “They do have food, I heard they’re known for their burgers. But maybe we move to a larger table and see about ordering something for everyone to munch on.” She offers.

Spotting Vincent, there was a happy and eager wave, “Hey! Glad you could make it. And you’re not interrupting anything! This is Sonnie,” a nod to the Beast, “and this is Riley.” With him introducing himself, “Max and I met with him, he’s a good guy.” With a nod. “We were just talking about moving to a larger table and getting some different appetizers or whatever for everyone to enjoy. You’re welcome to join us.”

Sonnie nodded to Rlyeh, "That's cool! Definitely a sweet outfit!" Who was Mary? Was that someone she was supposed to know? Oh well, whatever.

She blinked in shock at the Elemental. "Wait, no food?!" Her disappointment was vast and immeasurable.

This is why she did not look up from staring sadly at the tabletop when Vincent approached them.

Oh boy, some random dudebro has come to hit on us. Happens every time. It's a curse, being this hot.

Wait, tenant? Landlady? Sonnie blinked and looked up, seeing the man was actually one of them. A Changeling. Oh, Sera knows him? "Oh, hi! I'm... oh nevermind." The Fairest had already introduced everyone.

Sera mentioned a food menu, and the Steepscrambler perked up immensely. "Yes! Let's away to the larger tables for the eating of the hor dourves!" Yeah, that's right, she knew a French word! She even used it correctly! Maybe.
