There would be no protest out of Sera, if Circe wanted to go first, she was more then welcome. Though her point was valid, the Summer was less squishy than her.

A frown when Circe seemed to not be able to pick the lock. The Nix could flex her own lock-picking skills, but felt those skills were best kept under wraps for now.

Now Rhodes stepping up and picking the lock? Total surprise, her face expressing it. She didn’t know he could pick-locks, then again, he didn’t know she could either. A conversation for later.

Armored gloves. Keep the hands safe, padded, and clumsy. She'd remember not to wear those next time, and not get the lockpicks stuck in the gloves. At least it helped with getting in, even if she'd had to handle the rifle to keep quiet.

She watches Rhodes, ready to offer a hand if he needs help getting in.

And try to keep her ears pricked for problems.

The surprise of his wife brings an amused look to his face, if only for a moment. Many talents, darling, you know that. The next part however, he was less sure of. Where the ladies lifted themselves up with ease, the Dread Lord needed a little bit of a runup to head for the window....

Relying far more on reflex than practice, it was far more balanced than he had any right to be. Instincts are kicking in better than I thought. At least the old skills aren't totally gone.

After taking a moment to savor his minor victory Rhodes swept the room, looking for more guards before gesturing towards the door out of the room. Time before discovery was rapidly decreasing - they needed to be fast.

One by one, the Lost enter the warehouse through the window. Landing on their feet, and not their asses, with minimal noise.

It looks exactly like it had when they'd found this place by way of the Door Room. The angle's different, but it's still the same open floor plan, with the metal shelves with their boxes are in place. According to the blueprints, with their backs to the window, to their left would be where the enclosed downstairs office would be, and across from them passed the distance of the warehouse would be the staircase leading to an enclosed breakroom space.

Who exactly is inside either of those places is unknown.

Sera takes a peak around for anything that stands out and she doesn't clock anything obviously mundane in the Security field, but she does see mirrors. Up and angled where security camera would have been.

Wanted to breakup the Scene, putting a definite line between outside/inside and to get a new Scene with a new day counter

This is obviously a continuation, so any and all WP or Glamour Spent will carry over please mark that in with your Stats/Equipment!

[Seraphina]

Well, that went better then she thought it would. If she had to do it again, it would probably end with her on her ass.

Least the layout hadn’t changed. Though she wasn’t sure which way they were going, and looks to Circe, trusting her to know. The Nix was here as a distraction and to mend any broken limbs should it come to a fight.

Spotting the mirrors, she taps Circe and Rhodes on the shoulders and points to the mirrors, but says nothing. Could the mirrors be gates? Like what they had found before? Either way, she didn’t like them, and hopes they can avoid them. And even though there was no obvious alarm, she knew from movies there were silent alarms, and they could have tripped one. So she hoped the could make it quick.

[Rhodes]

Feeling the tap Rhodes looked up following Sera's pointing, and grimaced. "Cameras," he muttered quietly. The gifts of Reflection were somewhere. Harder to mask than cameras. Harder to fool, though only most useful after the fact. Or, at least, as far as he was aware. Regardless, it wasn't good for them.

Rhodes made a move towards the office. Better to rule that out first.

[Circe]

Circe doesn't flinch at the tap, her dart gun points where Sera's finger leads. Then the Summer frowns at the sight of Rhodes' cameras. Mirror hiding camera, security mirrors for watchmen? or magical camera that looks like a mirror? Could be any. "Or guard angle," she mutters back at a low volume before contuing with, "Offffice?" trailing off as Rhodes starts to it anyway. Well, that was that then.


She should really invest in ninja powers. Or see about making herself a kevlar and Hedgespun ninja suit.

As it was, she was going to go much slower then the others, to try and make it easier whilst checking the mirrors.

Rhodes made a move towards the office. Better to rule that out first.

Circe offers an interesting take on the mirrors, guard angles. She hadn’t thought of that, and weren’t those like the ones at the end of driveways? Maybe they could be used to their advantage then.

Realizing that she had gotten lost in her own thoughts of the mirrors, and that the others had moved forward, she hurries to catch up as much as she could.

Rhodes chanced a look at the mirrors. Ideally he would want to stay out of their catchment but if he were Ann he would have made sure they covered everything from some angle. They were already in that net, so may as well seize what advantages they could.

Circe keeps her eyes darting up constantly to check for mirrors and things in mirrors to give a nightcap to. And then makes a mental note that the next time she is darting people to sleep, to make sure to bring 2 nips of cheap rum. One to splash on the victim, and a second to plant upon them.

Slowly, carefully the Lost continue forward, Sera catching up and slipping into formation, while keeping an eye on the mirrors. They see it the moment it happens.

A long Wizened face gazing out from the mirror. Eyes tracking through the darkness, then. All at once, the Wizened's focus locks directly onto Rhodes...

[Seraphina]

The moment the Wizened eyes locked onto Rhodes, her blood ran cold.

Shit!

Not good. But if they locked on Rhodes, did they not see her? Or Circe? She wasn’t sure. All she knew was it wasn’t a good situation. And alerting Circe would make noise and draw the attention to her and the Summer Queen.

She didn’t have a good answer or counter to this. Against a regular run of the mill guard? No problem. But another Lost? Eh, that was going to be more difficult. But what she does do is pause in her movement, eyes watching the mirror and Rhodes, ready to touch off another Contract if need be. One she hadn’t used before, but one she would hope would cause enough of a distraction to get her husband out of harms way.
