Both of them stop. One takes the time to wipe at their face, trying desperately to see. The other stands desolate and stares, bawling.

Circe will have a -2 to target Anne as long as she's concentrating on using the shelf as cover.

Circe cuts her words off as it look like Anne is done. Well the dynamite will make certain of that. Later. Circe pulls the pin on another canister. She looks between the two bawling baddies.


Freed slave or loyal servant? Well, she had the armor to ask them. She'd regret killing the former. So she'd ask them something: "Ya quit?"


If either attacks, Circe still has ammo.

The pin's pulled and more of the tear gas hisses out, Left who'd been scrubbing at his eyes, coughs and lets himself fall on his ass, "Fuck that."

While Right's bawling turns into something like historical laughter, "Ain't got no strings on me~" she warbles out,

"She had us all wrapped up and tied and bound and fuck. We ain't gonna pick up arms against her enemies."

"But...that doesn't mean there's not other who would."


In the distance, from what might be the front office they can hear a faint, but probably bellowed, "What the fuck!?"

And from behind them, from where the Mirror Gate had been, "FUCK! DAMN! COCK! FUCK!"

"Good," she nods and as they talk Circe will "test" Ann's corpse, with the bayonet, to make sure she isn't faking. "No bomb-vest. Use soap and warm water ta--"


And then shouting frome elsewhere. Circe smirks at the language, but quickly asks, "Which of those two are the objectors?"


If the answer is both, then Circe will head to follow Seraphina's route.

Now that the chaos is slowed, Circe moving around to check on Anne - yep. Dead. Very dead. But there's a part of the Summer that wants to cut of her head. Just to make sure - and looks to see the security guards, the ones that had been conspicuously absent from the battle, and sees how very, very dead they look. Desiccated and rotting. Long dead instead of had been alive recently.

Looking back at the dead Queen Anne, she'd used goblin fruits....but Circe knows that two fruits couldn't have kept anyone, not even the meatiest of meat shield tanks up from the hail of bullets the Summer Queen'd rained down on the Autumn. Did she...? Fuck, that's not even a question is it. Of course she'd sacrificed two puppets to fuel her own life.

"Soap and water, ya - uh - "

"Well, Archer - that's back there, he's and the other guards are true believers, Paige and Barb still here?"

"Think so."

"Don't know about Barb. But Paige isn't, she'll GTFO as soon as she can, which is like now. So."

"What the fuck is happening?!" crackles to life over the dead guard's walkie talkies.

I'd like a Perception or Wits + Investigation on Anne if you wanna check the body over for things.

Circe growls in disgust, stabbing Ann again for good measure, at her vile conduct. Tyrants fall. She does a quick mag swap, pocketing the partially spent one.


As they explain, the Summer Queen rifles through Ann's pockets, emptying them out to try and find anything at all.

Circe was tempted to just grab the walkie and shout ATF or something like that into it. "How many loyalists? And would you saying government raid inta the talkie make them run?" Depending on the numbers, well no, no that wouldn't matter. Her blind rage at Ann's existence was ended. She could think tactically now. The loyalists had numbers and she'd spent a lot of brass already.


Circe wasn't Rambo, not enough explosives. She'd settle for beheading the group. If they thought the Men in Black were hunting them, more the better.

Maybe she'd visit Ambrosial Delights, pay out a gun and ammo bounty on this Archer and the other loyalists.

Circe finds....something. It's a Token, Circe knows that, from the vague Hedge-sense all Lost have in regards to these things, but she doesn't know what it does just by looking at it. But it doesn't look like much, a stone easily able to fit in the palm of her hand. There is a perfect circle carved in the middle that it looks like it's dripping blood.

There's nods, one hesitant, and the other readily, "Yeah, that'd work. Here - " the one Ogre shuffles over to one of the wizened corpses, and reaches blindly for the walkie talkie, "Her Grace down. Hunter - Human. Raid. Evac ASAP!" is called into the walkie.

"Shit! " is the echo from Archer. "Copy. Rendezvous..." there's a beat. "Orchard compromised. Fall back. Weigh point."

"Copy. Out." and tosses the walkie talkie to the corpse. As the Lost hear thundering steps coming from all directions, the Lost doing what the Lost do best. Flee, escape. Live.

"Can a, Can we get some nice soapy water now?"

"Good," she nods after the radio is off, pocketing whatever it was Ann had made. Then Circe pulls out a stick of dynamite, "Running time fer everyone. Ya want tickets ta Vegas?"


She'd catch up with Seraphina later, trying to figure out where she was off to. For right now, it was important to ensure there was NOTHING left of Ann the Fetch Maker.

ooc: Circe is good with fleeing and then finding Seraphina. If there is a way to join up with Seraphina in the Hedge, she'd try that. She will not light the fuse and leave the stick on Ann until Left and Right have started sprinting. Followed by herself. Overkill? Circe has much hate for Ann. We can also say she drags Rhodes out if need be.

Right and Left - "Hannah, and Ned, thank you!" - get their soapy water, and sob in relief, fucking tear gas. Quick look has Paige Turner long gone, and Barb Dwyer likewise, Archer had fled to whatever was their weigh point, and Hannah and Ned, the Ogre bookends, Right and Left, had thanked the Summer Queen and fled through makeshift door. Not wanting anyone to know where they were headed.

Circe, makes quick work of her dynamite, setting it up so nothing of Anne would be left, and nothing of her warehouse where she'd been storing her fetch making supplies would survive.

Circe watches from a safe distance, as everything lights up and goes -

The Orchard's gone, and Sera's now trying to find a Path and leave the Hedge, so it would take more time to try and find her than it would to have her flee and regroup Iron Side. So, I'm going to say that this is the end of the Bay's Queen Anne.

But she does have those minions, whom might wish for Revenge!
