Apollo considered the options for a moment "That seems like the most logical plan. Its either going to be car pooling or ubers.." internally he frowned, he was currently studying bioscience this year as a pre-requisite to get on the medical programme although luckily not at Davis. The situation was certainly strange and one they needed to look into before more people went missing.

[Belle]

Belle cracks her knuckles and stretches, combatting mental fatigue by working the other muscles in her body. “I’ve got a minivan, so we can probably cram in there. I feel like this is one of those times where splitting up is a bad idea.” Even if she could technically port out of trouble in a pinch. “If we need to sneak onto university then I could use Prime to mock up some IDs, provided I have the cards or badges to work with.” She’s looking forward to making practical use of her illusion spells. “I can also Scry the crime scene ahead of time if we have an address, just so that we don’t have to spend too much time there.”

[Phoenyx]

"Hmm." It seemed people were broadly in favor, but the Arrow wasn't sure about leaving her bike behind. A minivan was hardly a high-speed pursuit vehicle. Also, it was a minivan. Phoenyx had always imagined Belle having something.... well, cooler.

Still, she was right about splitting up. "I agree - we should stay together. I would rather we simply avoid such things than would need magic to overcome where we can. If needed I can conceal us from electronics and similar illusory deceptions, but for now we should just gather the information. The record showed the body was found in an alleyway near the University - " she looks for the paper referencing it and passes it to the Mastigos "- is that enough to scry with?"

[Moira]

"That is damn handy that you have a minivan, cause ummm my Mini only holds 4.." She held up her fingers sincerely to Belle. Then looked at Apollo. "So.. you are enrolled as a student yeah?" She said with a grin. "You think you could get chatty with the science department folks? I mean.. isn't bioscience a part of getting a medical degree? I mean you are undergraduate, but still..." She said with big hopeful eyes. "Maybe they know some stuff that isn't here... sometimes people don't always tell everyone all the stuff.."

Puck expresses his gratitude as he leaves to hide in the lorehouse, leaving the mages of Sacramento to continue their investigation without him.
