Jasper bounces on the balls of his feet for a moment as he looks around the dimly lit room. His nostrils flare as he takes an introductory and instinctual sniff as he shifts his backpack around slightly. A quick unzip and a bit of rummage later and he pulls out his flashlight baton, clicking it on just a moment after the Elemental ignites her armor around her hands. "Oh. Neat." he says, guiding his flashlight around the room as he looks and sniffs about.. "Yeah, that's my thought too.."

With her hands on fire, she can't move things with them unless she wants to have this place go up in flames...again. But that doesn't stop her from poking about.

The fire burned hottest here. Everything is unstable, the supports - what's left of them - are barely standing, the metal is warped and twisted, the concrete, shrunken and cracking, but what's strange is there's a small corner with a smudged humanoid outline, that remained untouched.


The suddenness of the fall, or the absence of his Pack must have addled his senses, he doesn't catch anything new but the play of his flashlight verses Talia's fiery fists.

[Talia]

Talia pointed towards the Corner, highlighting it to Jasper. "You see here... a smudged... human outline that remains untouched." Talia looks around, hoping for more clues. Maybe some sooty footprints or something to show whoever was in the corner left. She had a theory, one she could be wrong about but it was possible the fire was started by an Elemental. She looked back at Jasper, she wondered what his bedside empathetic manner was like because hers was a bit tricky to get across.

[Jasper]

Jasper turns to where Talia points, squinting slightly in the dim light provided by glowing fire hands and his flashlight as he steps closer and leans down his tall form to peer at the smudges.

"It does.. It looks just like a person.... Everything around it looks burnt but not this spot.." he says, looking over at Talia. "Any idea what that means?"

The lines are smudged but clear the more the Lost look. Peering closer the shape doesn't seem like a person standing, back to the wall, but someone either shorter then average with awkward proportions, or whomever was here had been kneeling or sitting when everything had gone up in flame.

Talia continued to look at the spot "I think it is likely that this was caused by one of us. Most likely an Elemental." She paused "I would hazard a guess as newly escaped and possibly scared." another pause "Or I could be totally wrong."

Jasper nods as he traces his light beam along the outline of the humanoid form on the wall as he listens, trying to spot any more clues but getting nothing himself. "That would make sense. Someone got scared and created a lot of fire as a defense... All the smells here are old or just burnt, I don't know if I can track it all that well."

Jasper more focused on his nose, misses it, but sharp eyed Talia doesn't. The only thing left unburnt, ironically is a book of matches.

If it's picked up, they'll see it's for a bar just a few blocks away...
