"I beleived it would help, but perhaps not. We can always practice something else? Find something to help you reflect. Or perhaps meditation is simply not for you, as you say." Phoenyx looked a little disappointed, as if that were a reflection on her skills as a teacher.

There is a small smile at Apollo's compliment. "Thank you," she says. It was a little confusing, especially after his words at Concillium. "That would be good - I will make myself available. Study is like most things - practice is best."

She does some stretches. "I believe it to be best that we end there. There is always time for more sesisons in future."

A nod to Apollo, “Yeah, the problem is going to be when I finally fully retire. Though I suppose I could keep some parts of my routine that help me find that good head space.” She was sure she could work out a deal with her piercer. “I’ve never really been too into nature, and I don’t mind the gym, but I guess it’s like you said, what works for you, just works for you.” Maybe meditation would never be her thing.

“I’d also like to join in on a few combat training sessions. I figure at some point, some of it has to stick.” Then an eyebrow was raised at the quip about Mysterium and study habits, but nothing was said. The Shaman was having her own inner issues with her Order anyways.

A soft smile was offered to the Arrow, “You tried to help, and I’ll always be thankful for that. The lessons were easy to follow and spot on, but I just think my mind works differently.” She liked how Phoenyx taught things.

Seemed like the class was done for the day. “Sure. Anyone wanna go grab a coffee or anything?”

The Arrow nods, offering a smile. "I'll arrange a session. If the meditation doesn't work, hopefully the self-defense will. I feel that part is more important to stick with you, especially if you have other methods of maintaining balance."

She packs the last of her things away. "A drink sounds good. We'd better go."
