The Vanishing: Three to danse

After the events at her House stronghold, Twist must deal with the aftermath. Twist finds herself with three Brood staring at her as the night grows long. She has used her Family Gift to cow their aggression. What does she do with these invaders?
If Twist looks outside, she will note the obvious tire marks of the muscle car that sped away. There are crimson drops beside another set of tiremarks. Yet the woman Twist spoke with is no longer present.

A breath inhaled hours ago was released as Twist straightened from her fighting pose.


She fought back the urge to turn and run deeper into the stronghold, calling upon her blood to do it faster and faster. Instead, dark eyes turned to the 3 Brood.


"Why did you come here?" It was hard to make the words come out smoothly when she wanted to scream them, to demand answers, to claw them with nails from their undead throats.


But she knew her power of them would eventually wane. No need to speed the process.

The three look at one another. There is a silent contest represented by darting gazes and cutting eyes, until the one with the cell phone responds a moment later. All three turn their gazes with obvious obeisance to Twist.

"We were directed to come here. One of our members dissapeared around here awhile ago." He replies promptly.

Twist didn't sigh. That was an answer. That it raised numerous other questions was to be expected.

"I imagine you can now imagine what happened to them. The ones who directed you to come here - what will they do next?"

She resisted the urge to ask more. How many. Where. Who. The questions and answers would come in time.

Two of the muscular Kindred glanced to one another.
"Two ideas - one is that they come to fuck up whoever fucked us up.'

The second invader, who had a shaved head and wore the leather motorcycle jacket with the occult patch like the others, speaks.

"Or they're busy screwin' where they are. I know he told them what was happenin'.
You see the little bit outside? The one with the camera?". He asked Twist.

"That would be a very bad idea," Twist says so smoothly, so easily, that it almost didn't sound like the threat that it was.

Tilting her head, she turns to look outside. She recalled seeing the one who got away throw something. Is that what shaved head meant? Frowning, she left them and stepped outside, walking to the area where the object had been thrown. Looking for what it could be.

"Might be, yet we know Jax had not called back like he was supposed to. Which could mean a few things. Here we are, not calling back like we're supposed to.With the power of her Blood surging, the captives do not recognize or bristle at the threat. Yet Twist knew the limitations of her Blood Gift.

Twist recalled the events that had brought her to her House's stronghold. The attractive Blonde woman and the darker skinned woman with her caramel hair in a braid who had watched the Brood in their car - throwing demonstration in public by Rocky's bar. The two women had ran to a non descript black van outside of Rocky's. When Twist had arrived at he stronghold, the blonde woman had been sitting outside of the muscle car. At the time, there had been no sign of the dark haired woman with the braid.
Looking around, Twist could see marks on the ground that she could connect to a black van or a muscle car. She would need a few minutes to study the area to have an idea of what had happened.

As Twist walked outside, she was reminded of how the entrance to her House had looked at the time. A muscle car that she had watched an injured invader use to flee from her.

As Twist took in her surroundings outside of the House, she became aware of movement further down the road that led to the house. A woman was just entering Twist's line of sight. A woman who looks familiar, yet who is a bit far away.

Ale wasn’t sure if she should feel relieved that they choose to not start a fight, or uneasy. But one thing was certain, she was continuing on her way. She was on a mission, find this look alike and figure what the fuck was going on.

As she spots the woman, the one matching Twists build and height, she doesn’t stop moving. She only lowers her hood as she makes her approach.

Finally, maybe some answers.

Helen stays close behind Sofia, even though she still tries to keep an eye on their surroundings. As far as she knows, they're still at least one baddie short of the full set. And that's not a good thing, at least so far, really. Does the figure at the distance familiar ? Hard to tell at this point... So she just moves up and keeps the knife ready, just in case.
